Antique Parlor Table ~ 2 Tier Victorian ~ Spindle Legs With Glass Ball and Claw
A truly delightful yet sturdy Antique Parlor Table that has been in our family for many years. She shows 4 beautifully carved ribbed spindle legs setting on the original ball and glass claw foots support this 2 Tier Parlor Table. The top tier is a round scalloped top that is 27” across with the second tier showing a round top that is 14” across. Over all heights is 28.5” and is 27” wide. The wood is in fabulous condition offering the warmth and patina that only 120+ years can give. This table has always been very well cared for and is extremely solid with no warping. Cracks or movement. I've taken a lot of pictures to show the true warmth of this table with the last 2 pictures taken with a flash attachment. Regarding shipping: As this table has never been taken apart and then subsequently glued; disassemble for shipping could be a problem ... moreas I don’t know if the original glue that held the legs into the top braces is tight and sound. Antique Victorian Marble Mahogany Top Parlor Table Rose Carvings
Offered for your consideration is a beautiful antique Victorian Marble Top table. The table measures approx. 23 inches in height. Approx. 22 inches in width and approx 17.5 inches in depth. The table is in excellent antique condition. It has a beautiful Italian white marble top with gray veining and a 1/2 inch beveled edge. The base of the tables are made of solid mahogany wood with a rich red-tone finish. They have carved flowers on the top portion near the marble top. The base is a pedestal with a finial type piece at the bottom in the middle of the base. The marble is marked made in Italy and the mahogany is marked Mahogany Association. Table has a few unnoticeable minor scratches/scuffs- please see pictures. This table is listed as Pick Up Only. I will be glad to help prepare the table for pick up by the shipper of your choice.
