Exquisitely painted. Varnished, and signed by the artist in 1955. Large Tole serving tray with a floral pattern/motif signed by C. Shannon. In excellent condition, especially considering its age. I have seen many of these trays, and this one absolutely stands out due to the detail and color used by the artist. The little blue flowers are my personal favorites. It is truly unusual. Rust, or deep scratches on the top. There is a little very minor wear on the gold trim and some scratches on the bottom of the tray. I will combine shipping for multiple items. Measures approximately 17" by 13 1/2" It is in well preserved condition with still bright popping colors. There is a small dent in the middle and a spot where the paint chipped away on the dent(top part of large pink flower in the middle) signs of wear from age and use, but still a beautiful tray! This old metal tole tray is stamped on the back"hand painted by Pilgrim Art" inside of the company's artist pallet shape logo. This is a large retangular tray from the 1940's-1950's It has some wear and small scratches and small areas of missing paint. The back has some wear as well and 2 small rust spots( about 1/2 the size of a dime) Please email me if you would like additional pics. 12" x 22.5" The colors are very unusual for this era and type. It is all gold and the flowers are cream dogwood with green stems and leafs. A nice neutral for any decor. It would really go well with Tuscan themes that are so popular now. The back has a tag that says Fine Arts Studio Hand-Painted Phila 47 PA. I'm not sure when that dates it. But I think that is the 50’s. That's when this type of stuff was more popular. Some of the paint has flaked off on the flowers in the middle. It still a pretty nice piece of nostalgia! Great for your collection! Here is a vintage metal tray by NASHCO PRODUCTS New York. This tray measures 18 1/2 X 10 1/2 inches. It is a solid metal tray with a lip on the edges of about 1/2 inch in depth. This is in very good condition with minor scratches to the paint. The most noticable are on the grapes. The bottom has a few tiny spots of paint chipped off. There are no dents or dings but some slight wear on the edges. The bottom is black and the top is green painted fruit on cream. This has been on display for the last many years.
