Gilt Tole Jewelry Casket
Up for auction is a stunning little vintage gem. It’s pierced gilt Tole. Either Italian or French standing 21/2”high and 3” wide with repeating floral and leaf motif surrounding the casket. The lid is of thick beveled glass held in place with a crown bezel. I believe the metal is brass but it may not be. Either way the luster and patina of the finish is rich with mellow golden tones. An original vintage Renzo Carli hand made serving tray. Many of these trays are produced in Italy but non compare with these from the Renzo Carli Florence workshop. This tray measures 8" across. The well defined 1" with lip border is in orange with gold gilt and very attractive design. This border gives added dimension to the black background center with a beautiful hand painted floral bouquet. This tray has never been used to serve with but only displayed on a wall as decoration. Still retains the original foil sticker of the Company. I have had many of these beautiful Italian made trays and other items in the past but Renzo Carli is by far the best. Most all of my listings are antique. Vintage or used items. For that reason they may have a mark or other imperfection. This is a vintage. Gold gilt florentine magazine holder. Recently purchased at an estate sale, I am unsure of it's age. It is unmarked. In good, used and vintage condition, there are a few issues worth mentioning. Most importantly, there is a small dent and crack in the wood on one of the bottom edges. This can be seen in the second picture. In addition, it looks like there is another hairline crack on one of the feet. I can't tell if it is a manufacturing thing of a flaw. Finally, the entire piece has some paint loss and some small chips. The rack measures about 14 1/2" across, 17" tall and 7" deep. Still very pretty, it will make a useful addition to any room. Lovely small vintage Florentine toleware wastebasket Stamped Made In Italy. It has the original Florentia sticker on the bottom. The waste basket is done with a scallop ed top and bottom. It has a lovely gold gilt design on cream color. It stands about 11 3/4" and is about 10 3/8" in diameter at the top narrowing to about 4 1/2" in diameter at the bottom. It is in good condition with some wear to the paint especially on the top and the bottom as you can see from the photos A great piece for decorating a Hollywood Regency or French home. This is a beautiful wastebasket with the fleur de lis trademark symbol on the bottom. Says Made in Italy- Florence. 10.5" tall. 9.75" diameter at the top. 6.5" diameter at the bottom. Has a great patina to it. The color is a turquoise green; it's more on the green side than the blue side. I am unable to date it.I'm thinking it's from the 50s or 60s? but I am not sure. Definitely true vintage, though. Photo 5 shows a long crack and two shorter cracks. While the cracks are visible. The wastebasket is still completely intact and fully functional. There is a wonderful patina to this wastebasket I don't know if this is considered tole. But when I researched toleware, it says it is painted on metal. I actually cannot tell exactly what the material this is made out of. 3 Antique Italian Florentine Gilt/Tole Fleur de Lis Green&Gold Shelves-RARE-VGC
Offered is a set of three(3) Antique Italian Florentine Fleur de Lis shelves. These shelves belonged to a man I bought a house from and I was told they belonged to his grandfather. The gentlemen I bought these from was about 70 years old then(I didn't ask his actual age. But he was pretty old and had never lived in another house, other than the house I bought from him) Now, this was back in 1990, when I bought the house and I literally fell in love with these shelves and although I was just a novice collector, the previous owner knew he had something special. I had more money than brains, back then, and I paid him whatever it was he wanted for them.I do not recall the actual $ amount, BUT I recall having to go to a bank to acquire the funds. Anyway, I got them and since hubby and I are trying to downsize, these just have to go. They are ... morenot without flaws.There are some scratches/place s missing paint. As shown in the photos but I don't feel any of the mars distract from the overall lovliness of the shelves(that is my opinion) There is a pattern to the top of the shelves. As shown in the photos and one shelf has a pretty good scratch on the shelf top. There is a piece of tape on the back of one of the shelves and that shelf's back sticks out maybe 1/8" or so from the shelf top. It is securely attached and the hanger is also attached to the back, but not to the corner where it belongs.please see photos and be sure to ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Finding three matching shelves from over 100 years ago, probably closer to 150 years ago is rather unusual, if not unheard of.

Vintage Magazine Rack Florentine Gold gilt wood magazine rack with a very detailed and beautiful design. Rack measures 15 3/4" tall. 15" wide and 8" deep. Handle slot in center with 2 separate compartments for magazines. No markings on the piece as to the maker or age. There are some imperfections in the piece. One of the scroll feet on the bottom has wear. One of the bottom rails has a broken piece which has been taped from underneath some time ago. There is also some scuffs and chippy paint. VINTAGE ANTIQUE GILT GOLD PAINTED SCALLOPED TOLE FRUIT TRAY BOWL BREAD BASKET. This Tole painted Tray/Bowl isin good cosmetic condition. Showing minor signs of age, use, and wear. The piece is nicely decorated with a gold gilt in a Dove& Ivy decor. The bowl has scalloped edges on two sides and measures 11 1/4 inches long x 7 3/4 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches tall. The piece has"Pat. Applied For" impressed in the bottom of the Tin. Minor paint chips missing overall, with signs of surface rust(patina) beneath, surface scratches and other signs of use and wear.
