This is a vintage. Gold gilt florentine magazine holder. Recently purchased at an estate sale, I am unsure of it's age. It is unmarked. In good, used and vintage condition, there are a few issues worth mentioning. Most importantly, there is a small dent and crack in the wood on one of the bottom edges. This can be seen in the second picture. In addition, it looks like there is another hairline crack on one of the feet. I can't tell if it is a manufacturing thing of a flaw. Finally, the entire piece has some paint loss and some small chips. The rack measures about 14 1/2" across, 17" tall and 7" deep. Still very pretty, it will make a useful addition to any room. This is a beautiful wastebasket with the fleur de lis trademark symbol on the bottom. Says Made in Italy- Florence. 10.5" tall. 9.75" diameter at the top. 6.5" diameter at the bottom. Has a great patina to it. The color is a turquoise green; it's more on the green side than the blue side. I am unable to date it.I'm thinking it's from the 50s or 60s? but I am not sure. Definitely true vintage, though. Photo 5 shows a long crack and two shorter cracks. While the cracks are visible. The wastebasket is still completely intact and fully functional. There is a wonderful patina to this wastebasket I don't know if this is considered tole. But when I researched toleware, it says it is painted on metal. I actually cannot tell exactly what the material this is made out of. For your consideration is this vintage 1950-60's Italian Florentine easel and landscape picture by Corot. The gold/gilt and cream easel is 10 1/4" tall and 5" wide. It has a gold medallion at the top. The picture measures 7 3/4" x 5 3/4" The easel has its original metal chain. Both the easel and the picture have the typical distressed finish. Often this is called Hollywood Regency style. The easel is stamped"Made in Italy" underneath the stand. The picture has its original triangular shape hook. This first item is an lovely piece of Italian Toleware. This little tray measures a mere 9"x6" but certainly packs a punch with it's charm. This is a wooden tray. Hand carved and hand painted in the Firenze(Florence) style from Italy. This one dates from the 1940's and for it's age, it is great shape with no cracks, major chips, only a minimum of worn or missing paint spots. GORGEOUS antique vintage elegant cut crystal bowl with saw tooth edge atop a tole gold gilt metal pedestal adorned with three full bloom roses and leaves. Measures 5 5/8" Tall x 6 1/4" Across the top x 3 1/2" Across the bottom metal ring. FRAME: bottom of metal frame has a large leaf design inside a round ring with a stand in the center. The sepals of the rose are turned downward while the rose flower is upright. The leaves and roses are soldered on to the frame. All elegantly covered in gold leaf gilt in a distress pattern. The roses and the leaves cannot be moved. There is a spacer between the frame and the crystal glass bowl. BOWL: crystal bowl has a large starburst pattern on bottom. Saw tooth edge design is on the outer of rim, the inner part of top is smooth, really unique design. Two leaves at the bottom have rust underneath. I did take pictures. Sold As-Is. This has small metal tag on stem at top marked ITALY. Also has sticker marked; MADE IN ITALY. Lovely Tole Flowers. Yellow and orange. NO shade. This stands approximately 30" tall(not including arch part for shade, 41" with) the bottom is about 7" across. Metal bas. Vtg ITALIAN Italy METAL Tole TOLEWARE Daffodil FLOWER CANDLE Holders Sconce This is a Vintage pair of Italian Metal Toleware Candle Holders that are Daffodil Flowers and they sit on a table or shelf. They are Old Toleware and are marked on the bottom Made in Italy. Measure aprox 11" long. 6" tall and the Daffodil's are 4" in diameter. They have a little bit of chipping paint all around but are in Wonderful Vintage condition. Candles are for Display Purposes only and are not Included* Please note that most of the items I sell are Vintage pieces.
