Up for auction is a painted vintage style Italian Florentine jewelry box. I'm not sure if it is vintage or a reproduction because it looks new inside. Perhaps it was never used. It is all wood and painted in gold and green has black accents on drawers and top has red and yellow tulip like flowers along with other design.Measures approx 6" long, 2" tall and 4 1/8"deep at base. VINTAGE RENZO CARLI TOLE GOLD GILT FLORENTINE FLORAL PAINTED SERVING TRAY UNUSED
An original vintage Renzo Carli hand made serving tray. Many of these trays are produced in Italy but non compare with these from the Renzo Carli Florence workshop. This tray measures 8" across. The well defined 1" with lip border is in orange with gold gilt and very attractive design. This border gives added dimension to the black background center with a beautiful hand painted floral bouquet. This tray has never been used to serve with but only displayed on a wall as decoration. Still retains the original foil sticker of the Company. I have had many of these beautiful Italian made trays and other items in the past but Renzo Carli is by far the best. Most all of my listings are antique. Vintage or used items. For that reason they may have a mark or other imperfection. Vintage Italy Florentine Gold Gilt Gesso Ornate Wooden Wood Trinket Box
Here's a very old Florentine wood with a gesso design. Gold paint/gilt trinket box with a romantic picture on top. It's small, measuring 4" square and is a little over 1 1/2" tall. It has 2 crude metal hinges on the back. The gold paint isn't perfect, and is scratched up here and there due to age, especially on the corners, but it is still nice and the gold paint that is there shines very brightly and it displays very well. I guess you'd say it has a very nice, overall patina. You can see how old it is by the inside of the box. The wood is sturdy. This is a vintage. Gold gilt florentine magazine holder. Recently purchased at an estate sale, I am unsure of it's age. It is unmarked. In good, used and vintage condition, there are a few issues worth mentioning. Most importantly, there is a small dent and crack in the wood on one of the bottom edges. This can be seen in the second picture. In addition, it looks like there is another hairline crack on one of the feet. I can't tell if it is a manufacturing thing of a flaw. Finally, the entire piece has some paint loss and some small chips. The rack measures about 14 1/2" across, 17" tall and 7" deep. Still very pretty, it will make a useful addition to any room. The piece has an exterior diameter of approximately 14 inches(34mm) and an interior diameter of 10 inches at the lower circumference, and 11 1/2 inch diameter at the upper circumference with 1 inch between the two. The stand measures approximately 2 1/2 inches tall and rests on three curved feet. The original"Italy" metal tag is still present, but obviously the bowl is missing. Perhaps you have just the piece. This is a beautiful wastebasket with the fleur de lis trademark symbol on the bottom. Says Made in Italy- Florence. 10.5" tall. 9.75" diameter at the top. 6.5" diameter at the bottom. Has a great patina to it. The color is a turquoise green; it's more on the green side than the blue side. I am unable to date it.I'm thinking it's from the 50s or 60s? but I am not sure. Definitely true vintage, though. Photo 5 shows a long crack and two shorter cracks. While the cracks are visible. The wastebasket is still completely intact and fully functional. There is a wonderful patina to this wastebasket I don't know if this is considered tole. But when I researched toleware, it says it is painted on metal. I actually cannot tell exactly what the material this is made out of. Offered is a set of three(3) Antique Italian Florentine Fleur de Lis shelves. These shelves belonged to a man I bought a house from and I was told they belonged to his grandfather. The gentlemen I bought these from was about 70 years old then(I didn't ask his actual age. But he was pretty old and had never lived in another house, other than the house I bought from him) Now, this was back in 1990, when I bought the house and I literally fell in love with these shelves and although I was just a novice collector, the previous owner knew he had something special. I had more money than brains, back then, and I paid him whatever it was he wanted for them.I do not recall the actual $ amount, BUT I recall having to go to a bank to acquire the funds. Anyway, I got them and since hubby and I are trying to downsize, these just have to go. They are ... morenot without flaws.There are some scratches/place s missing paint. As shown in the photos but I don't feel any of the mars distract from the overall lovliness of the shelves(that is my opinion) There is a pattern to the top of the shelves. As shown in the photos and one shelf has a pretty good scratch on the shelf top. There is a piece of tape on the back of one of the shelves and that shelf's back sticks out maybe 1/8" or so from the shelf top. It is securely attached and the hanger is also attached to the back, but not to the corner where it belongs.please see photos and be sure to ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Finding three matching shelves from over 100 years ago, probably closer to 150 years ago is rather unusual, if not unheard of.

Description This listing is for a vintage Italian Florentine salt shaker and pepper mill/grinder set. They are made of balsam wood and beautifully decorated with hand painted teal blue and gold gilt. There are orange/red and black accents. I believe the tops are made of brass. The pepper mill is marked Acciaio Garantito underneath. DIMENSIONS The salt shaker with its top stands 3 inches tall and is approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest point. One tray is rounded with scalloped edges and scrolled embossed design and measures 9 1/2" across. Unmarked The second tray has handles and is green and gold and measures: by" and has a few chippy areas. Unmarked. The trinket box is gold and has a checkerboard design with fleur di lis. Lions, etc. and is 4 3/4" by 3" approximately with hinged lid. Has label that includes"Made in Italy" The 3 would be a nice addition to a toleware collection. Still very usable. Frame stand not included.

I am a collector, but I must part with this piece as my walls are full. This is your lucky day! This wonderful. Old towel holder is pretty large, standing 14.5"H X 7"W X 2.5"D. Adorned with three yellowish porcelain roses(see photos for chips) it has magnificent charm. Displays beautifully. The gold gilt is in really good condition with just a tiny bit of wear.
