Wood Framed Serving Tray Vintage Tapestry under Glass Harvest Scene with Horse
Here is a wood framed serving tray with brass handles and a glass serving surface. Under the glass is a cloth tapestry that depicts a harvest scene and a man on horseback. the tapestry and glass are in excellent condition. But there are a couple of cracks in two corners of the frame that could be easily repaired. On back it was covered with a green felt and that has somewhat worn away by the years of use. Someone has tried to tape the felt back on, but you may choose to just remove it. it is a nice piece that has an old look to it. The frame measures about 15" x 20" not counting the handles)

VINTAGE HAMILTON WOODEN PRINTER'S TYPE DRAWER TRAY This is a neat old printer's type drawer. It has multi-shaped compartments. I have included a photo of a manufacturer's mark that is stamped in the tray. It is The Hamilton Mfg Co Two Rivers. Wis. Also stamped in the tray is New Departure Patented. The tray has a steel handle stamped HAMILTON and a cutout slot that identifies what font of type the drawer held. The drawer is very nice condition with a wood back. I have not done any cleaning on the drawer. I am listing three of these identical drawers. They are all in similar condition. A vintage solid carved wood 3 section tray/ dish. Underneath is the original"Empire Made" label. It is a thick quite heavily grained single piece of wood carved into a curving tactile shape. I don't think that it was ever used but has a very small scuff to the underside of one pointed corner which woul;d polish out.

This vintage wooden Divided Tray/Display Shelf has nice clean lines and measures 16" long x 12" high x 1-5/8" deep. Outer frame is made of four pieces of 3/8" thick wood. Not sure what type, possibly birch, and inner dividers are made of several pieces of 7/16" thick wood, same type of wood as frame. The back is made of one solid piece of a very thin wood, different from the rest. There are 25 individual compartments with the largest one being 5-1/4" x 2-5/8" see 1st photo, bottom, middle compartment) and the smallest one being 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" see middle rectangular compartments) There are two small picture hanging hooks attached to two corners for hanging. This beautiful. Solid wood fruit tray features extremely detailed carvings of exotic flowers around the top outer rim of the tray. There are exquisite roses and other flowers with the stems and leaves that have been exacted in great detail. Inside the carved handles are beautiful ribbon bows, again depicted in great detail. The centermost portion of the tray features amazing depictions of fruits; black forrest grapes with vines, luscious textured pears, plums, strawberries, leaves and nuts, all richly textured as intricately as the real fruits. The tray is 12.25 inches in length and 8.5 inches at it's widest point and 1.5 to 1.75 inches in depth. On the back of the tray. There is general aging to the wood. This has not been cleaned. There is some lite residue in the glass that has also accumulated inside the piece. These are natural sea oats or grain or something like that. I am not sure what these plants are. I think that this is some type of exotic maple handles something like birds eye maple or something like that but I am not an expert. The under part of the frame is not exotic just the handles. You are bidding on a Vintage Brazilian Blue Morpho Butterfly Wing Wood Wooden Tray. It is probably from the 1930's or 40's but I am not sure. It measures about 20 1/2" long and almost 13 1/2" tall. There is some slight deterioration to a couple of the butterflies but nothing that is noticable. The glass is in very good condition and the back has some scratches on it. It has a hanger which I believe to be original and it has a tag which apprears to be original to the piece. Overall the tray is in very good condition.
