THREE VINTAGE SOUVENIR PITCHERS FROM MAINE, VERMONT AND PENNSYLVANIA
This listing is for three vintage souvenir pitchers from Maine. Vermont and Pennsylvania. They all measure 5 inches tall. Are white with gold trim and were made in the USA. The Maine pitcher features a Chickadee in a Pine Tree. The Vermont pitcher shows a Hermit Thrush in Red Clover. The Pennsylvania pitcher has a yellow outline of the Keystone State and a Stuckey's tag on the bottom. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The close up pitcher is marked Germany- finely made. The small blue one is also marked Germany(1.2" high) The tallest is marked PICO Occupied Japan. Ask me! This is a wonderful pair of brown glazed pitchers. I do not know what the base material is. Looks like bisque to me. They are 1 1/2"H and are very nicely detailed. One is white inside the other blue. Beautiful. Thank you for your interest.

DESCRIPTION: VINTAGE LOT OF 4 PITCHERS& 5 TUMBLERS 1 ORANGE 2 BLUE 1 GLASS. Glass one measures 9" tall. Blue ones 7.5" and the orange one 9" CONDITION: These pitchers are in very good condition. The tumblers are marked Mutual Plastic Mold Corp La Mirada CA. Two are a slightly darker shade than the other 3. The tumblers can be stored inside the blue pitchers. I don't see any markings on the orange pitcher. The clear one has an anchor imprinted on the bottom. So I'm thinking it may be Anchor Hocking, but I won't swear to it. Great vintage find! This is another lot of fabulous pottery from my 96 year old grandmother. She has quite a bit of the Mar-Crest Daisy Dot that I will be listing today. I am not a pottery expert-selling these pieces for her. I have run my finger over these pieces and can not find any chips/cracks or'flea bites'The pieces do have several bumps& pits in the glaze( mold marks) Please review pictures and ask any questions needed to make an informed purchase decision.The dimensions are approx 5 7/8" tall& 6 3/4" long from tip of spout to end of handle on the large pitcher. Which does have Mar-Crest logo on base. The small pitcher is 4" tall and 4 3/8" across from tip of spout to end of handle- on logo on this piece. You are bidding on this lot of vintage miniature vases. Pitchers and a basket. They are all in excellent condition with amazing details. There are no visible signs of cracks or chips. The vases range from approximately 1" to 1 3/4" tall. Except for one, they are all stamped on the bottom Made in Japan. The basket measure approximately 1 3/4" tall to top of handle and there is no marking on the bottom. The pitchers measures approximately 1" to 2" tall and the only one with a marking Japan on the bottom is the tallest one. These would make a wonderful addition to your collection. For sale are two(2) Tupperware Handolier pitchers/ storage containers. The capacity of each is 48 ounces and they both have the number 261 on the bottom. One is orange and the other is white. There two interchangeable lids. One with a pour spout and one without. These are gently used so may show signs of minor surface scratching. I list nothing that is non functioning, so be assured they will be in a condition to be used over and over. The lids are tight fitting as well. Vintage Dripcut Syrup Pitchers (2) Bakelite Handled Syrup Pourers, Red, Yellow
Two bakelite handled syrup pitchers. One yellow. One Red. The lids are metal and have pitting/scratches in the metal. Both are missing the rubber gasket on the inside of the lid. There is a chip in the glass rim on the red-lidded pitcher. No chips or cracks on the yellow one. The yellow glass jar is marked"Ball" on the bottom. The red one measures just about 5.5" tall. Vintage Copper Pot Metal Ewer Pitchers Set of 2 #D1
Vintage copper colored pot metal set of ewer pitchers. Measures: 7"h x 4 1/2"w from tip of spout to end of handle x 3"w at widest point. Copper patina has darkened in areas throughout both pieces. Have not been aggressive in cleaning as I know how most avid collectors are about their patinas. There is some copper missing on the lower edge around widest portion of body of pitcher(see pics) There are a few tiny areas elsewhere on this one pitcher. The other pitcher appears to have only a tiny spot or two. Both have four scroll feet and are a bit uneven. I will leave it to buyer to even up. For fear of my injuring the feet. Lot of 4 Antique/Vintage Syrup / Cream Pitchers Metal Lids
Lot of 4 Antique/Vintage Glass& Metal Syrup Pitchersa. These lovely pitchers range from late 1800's to 1940's. In picture#1 from left to right: This. I believe is the oldest of the pitchers. It is marked on inside lid with Pat Apl 4.72 and based on research this appears to be 1872. It has a pewter lid and appears to be handblown measures approx 4 1/4" The second is the largest of the group. I believe the lid is brass and as noted it has a very small indentation. It measures approx 6 1/4" The glass has a decorative design of stawberries and leaves. The third is also a small pitcher with paneled sides and it flares at the bottom. There is some writing on the inside lid but I have not been able to decipher. This also stands approx 4 1/4" and has had a repair on the lid which looks to have soldered the shell form on ... moretop back on. The last pitcher is I believe the latest made probably 30's or 40's. Vintage Cash Family Lot of Two Cream Pitchers- Orange Gloriosa & Blue Violet
Offered for auction are Two Beautiful Cash Family Pottery Cream Pitchers. Circa 1950's. The Cash Family Pottery was founded by Ray and Pauline Cash in Erwin. Tennessee in 1945 as the Clinchfield Artware Pottery. They changed the name to the Cash Family Pottery in the mid 1950's. They made most of their own molds and in 1957 when Blue Ridge Southern Potteries, Inc. closed, they bought all of the casings and some of the molds. A casing is used to make a mold. All of their pottery was hand painted by local artist's that worked for them. Ray passed away in the early 1980's and Pauline was ill after a stroke, so the pottery was sold. The smaller cream pitcher offered here was hand painted in the Orange"Gloriosa" Flowers that grow in the Blue Ridge Mountains. With Green Leaves and a sponged or feathered trim on the top ... morerim and handle. It measures 3&3/4" High x 3&3/4" Wide x 4&5/8" Across from Spout to Handle and holds 8 ounces of cream. The larger one is hand painted with Blue Violets or Pansy's and Green leaves and also has a sponged or feathered trim on top and bottom, including the handle. It is a six sided pitcher with an elegant shape. It measures 5" High x 4&1/4" Wide and 5" Across from Spout to Handle and holds 12 ounces of cream, milk or buttermilk. They are both in Excellent pre-owned condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. They are not even crazed! There is one pencil dot size paint flake on the blue top rim near the handle that is barely noticeable, but felt it should be mentioned. They are each marked on the base in black: MADE BY THE, CASH FAMILY, HAND PAINTED. These are exceptional pieces of their pottery with all of the hand painting still vibrant and true! Pair of Vintage Victoria Ware Flow Blue-style Printed Pitchers- Pitchers are 7 1/2" Tall with a 4 1/2" Base. Beautiful rooster historical print. Lovely aging adds to decoration. Blue Transferware: Flow Blue. Ironstone, Blue Willow, Staffordshire Flo Blue. Blue Willow, and Staffordshire Historical Blue are all names of various wares decorated with underglaze transfer designs in cobalt blue. Although limited reproductions of all those types have been made for many years, new blue transferware now occupies entire pages of reproduction wholesale catalogs. Several American wholesalers each sell over 40 new shapes; one English supplier offers nearly 100 pieces. Many new pieces have patterns identical. Or at least very similar, to authentic 19th century patterns. These old-appearing patterns are applied to new pieces made in 19th century ... moreshapes such as tea caddies, toothbrush holders, pitcher and wash basins and others. Almost all the reproductions are also marked with symbols, trade names and words found in original 19th century marks. In other words. It is increasingly common to find new blue transferware with original patterns on 19th century shapes with marks of well-known 19th century manufacturers. Knowing just a few basic differences between new and old will help you detect and avoid the great majority of these confusing copies. The Transfer Process We need to begin our discussion with a quick review of the transfer process. Decorating ceramics with printed transfers was developed in the middle of the 18th century as a substitute for expensive hand painting. Low cost. Mass-produced transfer ware made decorated china affordable to middle-class families. Here are the basic steps in transfer printing. First. The design is engraved into a sheet of copper which could either be flat or mounted on a roller. A separate engraving is fitted to each shape. Up for bid are: 2 VINTAGE ANTIQUE GLASS SYRUP MILK CREAMER PITCHERS w/ MEAL LIDS DATED 1916 The two pitchers are slightly different in height and design. One pitcher is 4 3/8" tall and the other is 4 1/4" tall. Both have a ribbed design with spring hinged lids. Both lids are marked. With one being very hard to read. The one that is more clearly stamped, reads Pat Aug. 22nd 1916. There are NO chips. Breaks or cracks on either of these heavy weighted pitchers.
