But I will tell you the leaf is 35lbs, so the table is substantial. It is in good condition with some wear. The top has a light water mark from a glass. Hubby is working on it and it is coming out. Ethan Allen Drop Leaf Table by Baumritter of NY. This table was recently refinished and in very beautiful condition. As with most things. It is not 100% perfect and has its very small flaws, but it looks almost as if it came from the factory. It is a very beautiful table that is smooth and shines like new It measures 35 L x 25 W x 24 H. It is stained in American walnut and is an older piece. Possibly 50’s, 60’s or 70's. It has pad feet and swivel wood drop leaf supports. I believe the table is made of Maple construction and is a hard to find table. The numbers for this table are 2534 and 169080. The 169080 number may represent the type of table. Such as a drop leaf style. Ethan Allen has always been known for quality and craftsmanship. Like Lane and others. This Baumritter side table has been completely stripped to the bare wood. It was ... moresanded with 80 grit then 100. 150 and last 220 grit for a smooth stainable finish. It was thoroughly cleaned in between each sanding and then stained in American walnut. It was then sanded with 220 grit, cleaned and clear coated four times, as it was sanded in between each clear coat with 220 grit. It has been sealed with a polycyclic clear coat(4 coats) for a tougher protective finish. The final product was sanded with 600 grit. Than 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and finally 2500 grit. It was also wet sanded in those grits for a better finish. At the end, 4 coats of paste wax was applied to the table top, while the edges and legs were wiped with Weiman’s lemon oil to enhance the color and protect the finish. Vintage Hard Rock Maple Round Pedestal Dining Table
The Dining/accent Table is made of hard rock maple. It is a round table with a pedestal. The table is 4' across. It has two leafs that are 10" each. The table would then become oval and be 68" long. It is an older table. But overall it is in good condition. The top has some places with whitish discoloration on it. But it isn't that bad. A scarf or cloth would cover them nicely. Sturdy oval dining table that seats six comfortably and possibly eight. Hand crafted wood construction with heavy glass table top- beautiful reverse hand painted floral pattern under glass. Quality artistry. I don't know much about the history or artist other than it has been in my family for years. It may originally be from Pennsylvania or Massachusetts. There is some restoration to be done to the glass art. As bits of the paint have worn with the years. The overall table is in solid condition, but two of the legs should be repaired, restored.
