DESCRIPTION: Up for bids is this beautiful vintage beaded purse or handbag. Dating from the 1920s. This purse is made in a rare style, with a very elaborate metal frame with a three-dimensional rose and very intricate beadwork in spectacular colors! The frame is made from silver-colored metal, with a snap ball closure and an unusual beaded strap handle. The frame is made to look like a real rose, with the stem stretching across the front, and the leaves and flower positioned near the top. The side edges of the frame are also done in fancy filigree or openwork. It is decorated in cobalt blue beadwork with pink, gold, and pale green shapes and a large daisy-like flower at the bottom. The bag has a puffy, pouch-like shape. There is no manufacturer's mark inside the bag. The original lining is present inside-it is peach-colored silk.
