Vintage antique Wood Wooden Surveyor's Transit camera Tri-Pod lamp rare?
You are looking at a very well made tripod with still a lot of use left in it. Fully functional including the screw. Would look really cool re-purposed in a decorative environment as a lamp. T he tripod is made of so lid wood. This tripod expands a l l three sections fully in up-right position. Nothing is broken. The legs articulate out 30 degrees and it all folds down flat. There are no markings anywhere on it that I could find-maybe i mported maybe not? I believe it's at least 70 years old if not older but I can't say for certain. It is made of wood, with brass design outcroppings. The brass is all present and in good condition. The wood shows cracks and repairs and flaking to the varnished surface. Antique Wooden Carved Figurine of a Man on a Pole Lamp
This auction is for a wonderfully carved lamp of a man leaning on a lamp post. It is an antique. I have tried to show the defects through the pictures. I believe this lamp to be battery operated(see the picture of the back side of the man) There is a compartment in the base of the lamp. One in the back of the man which is where I believe the batteries go. The head turns from side to side and although I have not tested this lamp, I believe that it is the on and off switch for this lamp. There is some bending of the metal on the top of the lamp post(see pics) There is red glass at the lamp top, all panes present but one put to the side so that you can see the light bulb( I have not tested the light bulb and don't know if it works or not) The lamp is very detailed and is approximately 20 inches high. Found in my grandfather’s attic. This ancient decoy lamp is in remarkable condition given it's obvious age. There is a dent on one of his sides, some crackling of the paint, the tip of his tail feathers are damaged a bit, the leather that surrounds his base has come loose in some spots, and the felt on the bottom of his stand has pulled away in some areas(Please see photos) His hand painted body is made of cork with the faint appearance of green wings. The head is beautiful, gracefully hand carved and then painted to look real to other ducks- he also has glass eyes. He sits on an oval stand 2 inches tall that is covered top and sides with black leather. The working(looks quite new) lamp fixture stands 5 inches tall from his back. Antique Wooden Nautical TV Lamp Night Light Lighthouse Ash Tray Oriental Flair
This is a VERY COOL old lamp. It was found at a local estate sale in which the family had no desire to go through the decades and decades of possessions. The family opened the house to customers who were allowed to dig through the house as it sat. We found this in the back of a crawl space attic in a very old box. This is made of a stunning wood with a rich golden tone& a tight. Dark grain. It measures 10 3/4" long, 10 1/2" tall and 3 1/4" wide. It is a lighthouse with aluminum ashtray. The lighthouse is a light. The screws on this item are flat head. knob on the side is an on/off switch. It has a strange electrical plug.Japanese maybe? The light socket is slightly bigger than ... morea standard night light. The only markings are a tag on the bottom of ashtray(see last pic) It is in very good condition. There is nothing wrong with the ashtray. The white mark is due to the camera flash. It does have some light wear to the finish on wood(near ashtray) We were unable to test it due to the unusual electrical cord. It is a very fun and unusual item.
