This small metal figure is I think made in bronze and has an Asian/Indian look to it. It measures 3 7/8" tall. Just over 2" across the back and 3" wide including the bowl. Condition is used with a good deal of surface wear and it's also quite dirty. The base is not quite flat and it has a tendency to overbalance. I have no idea as to age and it is as found. Holding a sitar and beautifully modeled with intricate detail she has an exotic bird(probably a peacock) at her feet. A really impressive old antique with no damage other than a small nick to the wooden plinth and very feint natural shrinkage marks as shown in the images.

Two small bronze Indian / Asian Gods or Deities. Buddha & Saraswati. Approx 40mm
A pair of Asian Deities. I believe these represent Buddha and Saraswati. They are beautifully cast in bronze with a copper disc within the base(perhaps for use as a seal? You will see from the photos that the lute or sitar in Saraswati's lap is not cast onto the body but there is a gap between suggesting that these are quality items. They are both around 40mm height and weigh just over 20g. each. I cannot be sure of age but they have the look of being late 19th or early 20th century.
