This is an interest ing and unusual vintage pillow cover. It was hand embroidered with what I believe is a candlewicking design with fr ench knots at the center of the flowers. The design is Art Deco looking. The hand embroidery was completed with wh ite thread on a blue si lk or linen type fabric. Overall pillow cover size is 22" squ are. T here is age related soil wear along the fold seam at the top of the pillow and some discoloration on 1/2 of the back of the pillow. The last two pictures show the discoloration. 10" Pie Plate with Ceramic Decorative Dimensional Apple Design Cover/Lid
This auction is for a beautiful covered pie plate. The plate itself is brown and is 11 1/4" in diameter x 2" deep and will bake a 10" pie. The ceramic lid is ivory with brown edging(to look like a pie crust) and it has slices of apples fanned out with a whole apple in the center(which is the knob to lift the cover off) The bottom of the plate is stamped"Cooks Club" Quality Design, China. This is in almost perfect condition. I saw 1 teeny chip on the lid(last pic) The plate is ironstone(I think) because it's really heavy and the lid is ceramic. Great way to store your pie in style! Sorry for the high shipping, but it's really heavy, plus I packed it well, but depending on what zone you're in, the shipping could be as little as $10.35. Tea Mug Cup with Lid Cover White with Blue Floral Design
Tea Mug with Cover Up for auction is a beautiful covered pottery tea mug. This tea mug is white with a blue floral design. This piece measures approximately 3 3/4" high with lid. 2 3/4" high without lid, 2 3/4" wide at mouth The lid has holes around the edge for steam to escape. But 5 of the 8 holes are not open. There is glaze in the holes, so this is how it came from the manufacturer. See 3rd from last photo) The inner rim around the lid has chips. See next to last photo) The bottom of the cup has ridges.
