I do wish everyone the Very Best of luck winning the auctions. Description Up for auction is a Very Fine and Authentic Chinese Carved Celadon Jade Bowl. The Bowl is superbly and very thinly carved throughout. Really one of the finest examples I have personally seen. You do see quite a few bowls like this online that are being sold as jade, but are usually a variant or agate or serpentine stone. You very rarely see fine and Authentic Jade examples like this. As a more educated collector can see it is Authentic Jade, the bowl also passes the jade scratch test. I also had a gemologist verify the bowl at being an untreated and natural jade example, so you can bid with the Fullest of Confidence. The Bowl is carved of a beautiful and perfectly consistent light celadon jade hu. The Bowl has very thinly carved walls, and a superbly carved foot rim. I was told by the bowls very fine qualities this would indication it is a mid to later Qing dynasty example, possibly even a Qianlong period carved piece. However I will let you make up your own mind in regards to its exact age, and bid accordingly. The Bowl came from the estate with this very finely carved antique display stand which compliments the bowl very nicely, and which will be included with it. There are incised owners mark on the face of the plate and one open glaze flaw to the face of the plate. There is also wear to the face of the plate. Hard to find words to fully describe the beauty of this very rare& stunning tea pot of the QING DYNASTY. A true work of art. It was"MADE DURING THE MONARCH OF EMPEROR KANGXI OF THE QING DYNASTY" The Kangxi Emperor reigned from 1662- 1722. So the tea pot is somewhere between 291-351 years old. Despite the antiquity of the exquisite tea pot. It remains in perfect condition. The glazing is untouched by the years, and the colours remain bright and clear. The ceramic lid has a FOO DOG atop it as a protection. This tea pot stands 23.5cms high from the top of the foo dog to the base. A note to silver scrappers: There are those on Ebay who will claim that the weight of an object is less than advertised and demand a rebate after the auction has ended. This is an ongoing trend and these individuals seem to complain if silver prices go down between the day they buy and the day they receive. When one melts silver one can lose as much as 5% of the weight in the smelting process and I can not be held responsible for weight lost after melting. I do not generally melt anything that is well made as it makes little sense to me. So any potential loss should be considered before purchasing my items. All my items are measured with a standard tape measure and are rounded off to the quarter inch. I attempt to be as accurate as possible. But odd surfaces can prove difficult sometimes as I lack a pair of calipers. With over a thousand items in my store. Errors do occur, albeit infrequently. Exquisite antique Chinese porcelain cup. Qing dynasty circa early 1800s. The blue and white porcelain cup has painted scenes on the outside. There are houses. Pagodas and bridges painted around the cup. The inside rim is painted with continuous design. The rim is decorated in gold. The base on the inside has a simple design. The porcelain cup was an export ware from China to the west. The age is about late 1700s to early 1800s. There is no reign mark on the base as it was not a requirement for export ware. The small design on the inside gave clues to the age of the cup. The cup is in excellent condition except for a small hairline on one side. You can see it on the photos. Exquisite antique Chinese porcelain plate. Qing dynasty circa early 1800s. The blue and white porcelain plate has painted scenes on the inside. There are houses. Pagodas, a bridge and a boat on the river beautifully hand painted. The rim is decorated in gold. The underside of the plate is plain. The porcelain plate was an export ware from China to the west. The age is about late 1700s to early 1800s. There is no reign mark on the bottom as it was not a requirement for export ware. The plate has great patina and firing marks on the bottom. This serving tray has been in the family for generations. Now it is time for a new home. I have been told this tray was crafted in the 1700.S and was made for a royal family. In 1971 my mother was offered $6500.00 by a gallery in San Francisco and decided to keep it in the family as it was an heirloom. It has been in a sealed foot locker for the past 40 years. There are 3 smaller trays inside the largest tray which sits on a cross legged stand with dragons carved all along it-It is a masterpiece.
