It features two European ships with a small boat in between carrying passengers from one ship to the other. The colors are very muted and the piece has a Country French or Tuscan look. The table has four folding legs that operate on a sliding or glide hinge. The table is in very good condition and operates perfectly. It is lightweight yet sturdy. The decoupaged picture does show some wear/use and age. There are water marks from glasses being placed on the top without coasters. The piece was decoupaged using a torn picture and the tattered edges were purposefully done and are not loose. This is a lovely and aged table. He wrote on the receipt that served as an authentication: " Inlaid mahogany Demi lune card table most likely New Hampshire origin c. 1790. I paid $1150 at the time. I have used this in my front hall with a lamp on it. I have kept it folded up. It has been intact, but somewhat fragile and I don't open it up, but it opens nicely and the wood is really beautiful.
