This is a lot of 2 nice old framing squares. The first one(black painted) is 7.5" long. 5.25" wide, the ruler is 1.25" wide, the base? is almost.75" wide. The silver square is almost 7.5" long, 4.25" wide, the ruler is 1.25" wide the base is almost.75" wide. Because I do not know how to properly clean old tools, I do not attempt to. Here is a beautiful collection of 8 Vintage. Quilt Blocks made from White Cotton and Blue Embroidery Thread in good, used condition. Six of the blocks are approximately 12" square with an inner block of embroidery that is 10.5" square. They have been cut from a larger quilt and the border could be trimmed or left on for framing. Each block is very nicely embroidered with flowers and/or a basket in medium blue floss. The background has very fine, even quilting with 9-10 stitches per inch. I believe the embroidery stitches are the Running Stitch, French Knots and Lazy Daisy. There are no stains or spots, but the background fabric may be lightly discolored due to age. Two of the blocks are not square. They have been trimmed to an uneven shape due to wear, but the design in each is intact and could be still used for framing or crafting. ... moreOne of the 6 square blocks is very worn at the top, but again the design is still intact and could be trimmed if desired. Here we have a really beautiful older Vaughan( I believe) framing hammer that has been all cleaned up. Pimped out and mounted on a fully custom all hand made exotic hardwood handle.This hammer is approx. 18 inches long and the head is a approx. 22 ozer.The head on this hammer is in great shape with no damage such as cracks, welds, chips or major pits.When I started this hammer the only makers mark clearly visible and legible were the" wear safety goggles" on the one side and on the other side the name was unreadable, so I decided to remove all markings and just go for the clean look.I have delt with these heads before several times and Im 99.9 percent sure shes a Vaughan head.The waffle pattern was destroyed, so I decided to go for the clean look and I removed the little bit of waffle that was there in order to get the super pimp ... moreclean thing goin on.All in all she came out nice, I mirror polished all the high areas and hammer face but left all of the factory castings in the valley areas and under the claw.Moving on to the handle you get one of MY! classics in both shape and design.This handle is all made by me, by hand here at the world famous" Uncle Pimpys Axe Palce" here in Springfield Oregon.The woods I used on this handle are a combination of both domestic and exotic hardwoods and those species are Wenge, Maple. Up for consideration is this beautiful little hand mirror suitable for carrying in one's purse/handbag or for the vanity. Little hand mirror has a fancy gold color metal framing and handle with a domed resin backside that has square pieces of colored Abalone shells in it. Lovely mirror measures 3-3/4" long. 2-1/4" across center of mirror and is approx. 3/4" high where the dome is. I do not find any markings, so I have no idea who, when or where made. I sure wish we had a large enough home to display everything as I love it all. Vintage School Table Work Bench 2 Drawer 60x34x30 Sturdy Art Drafting Framing
Here on auction is a nice vintage table with 2 drawers. Age is unknown. My guess is the 60's 70's Possibly later than that. Hard to tell. Table has some cosmetic issues.
