There are 2 other gold circles around the plate. There isn't a brand name. There are no chips but I see a couple of flea bites but no cracks or crazing and there is a little yellowing on the back but that wouldn't affect display. The profile has vibrant color. This beautiful plate could be a great collector's item. This is previously owned but in absolute mint condition. There are no chips. No cracks, no crazing and no marks on either the front or the back. There is a nice red cloth on the rear already to hang it. I must assume it spent some time hanging as it should. This was an estate sale purchase. This plate was manufactured in Japan for Giftcraft or Toronto, Canada who was the importer. It was manufactured in 1984 in honor of the first Papal visit ever to Canada. A beautiful portrait of Pope John II adorns the front of the plate. It is made of Porcelain and is approx. 6 1/4" in diameter and weighs y oz. Embossing Seal for Pope John XXIII Council Knights of Columbus Louisville Plate
This is an embossing seal of the Pope John XXIII Council. Knights of Columbus, for hand crimped seals. The"hard" brass or bronze side of the seal is in excellent condition. The reverse"soft" side of the embossing seal has been flattened out a bit in a couple spots. Please zoom in and take a look for yourself. Heavy duty piece here. Good luck!

Souvenir Italy Plate ~ Pope John 23 ~ John F. Kennedy ~ Robert Kennedy ~ S. Rosalia Proteggimi Sempre Late 1960's Plate This beautiful colorful plate is a unique memorial. There are no chips. Cracks, scractchs or any damage. It was most likely produced in the late 60's. I have not peeled back the sturdy home made hanging loop from the back of this plate. There may be more information underneath. But I felt the need to keep it original as I'm thinking it was hung in a place of honor in someone's home as a reminder for prayer. This plate measures 10" The inner circle is edged with 24KT gold trim. I took many closeup pictures of this plate.
