This beautiful plate is made by the Bradford Exchange in 1996. Oval in shape and measures about 7" x 3 3/4" Our lady of Hope. First issue in Visions of Our Blessed Mother. The limited edition closes no later than December 31, 1998. Plate is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Back has a little of rubbing on it. Beautiful plate the only one I found on eBay with the gold flowers on side of last supper. The poem looks like someone had some letters fixed see pic the words us and our not sure what that's about maybe they were worn off also the word forever. Someone must have really loved this plate at one time to spend the time and solid hand to write those tiny words.

The four corners have a great look like rays of sun shooting out. Unfortunately the rays on one corner have broken. M easurements. It is 8" high and 6 3/4" wide. It's a little heavy for what it is- about 1 1/4 lb. before boxing. Condition(on a scale of poor. Fair, good, very good, excellent) is good. As mentioned, the rays are broken on one corner. Vintage Elegant Mary And Jesus Gilded Cloth Wall Hanging
A very nice piece. This small circle appears to be canvas and gilded wood, with a beautiful image of Mary and Jesus. There are no writings to be found on either side. But the piece is quite clearly worn with age and love, and the canvas image is still in excellent condition. The small hanging is 12.5CM/5 inches across. And weighs two ounces. A beautiful piece for any room. This listing was made by the family of Karen Doreen Hartsoe Koontz. Whose Franciscan order name was Sister Luke Panteleimon. Sister Luke passed away on 8/24/2013. From liver failure. She was 55. While it would never even occur to us to sell the things she valued. Much of what she left behind was simple stock-only a simple rosewood rosary and a few other objects meant anything of significance to her personally. In her last days. She mourned that her stock items were not ... morebeing sold-she saw her role on eBay as much as a vocation as any other role. To provide inexpensive and beautiful religious items to people who would have a hard time affording them otherwise. Given this. Up for auction are a pair of metal wall plaques made by the Metal Art Works Co. founded by L.V.Aronson which later evolved into Ronson. The lighter company. Aronson was known to employ some of the worlds finest scultptors to create the molds for his creations- and this pair is no exception. I believe they date from the 1920's. Antique Chalkware Station of the Cross from Old California Mission Convent
This is a wonderful piece of religious art that probably dates from the 1920’s or 30’s. It is a chalkware plaque. Measuring 12” x 17 1/4” x 1” thick. with an embedded metal hanger on the top edge. The plaster is reinforced within by a sheet of some type of fabric. This plaque was probably cast from an original modeled in clay. It is unsigned. I am not Catholic, so I cannot tell which station this is, but it is a scene in half-relief of Jesus on one side, turning away from another man(Pilate? who is gesturing toward him, with a third hooded figure with hands clasped on the far left side. These figures stand out from the five figures in lower relief in the background. There is an area at the top that looks like a background of a stone wall. The whole scene is framed in an arched frame approx 1” wide. The piece is finished with a wash of some ... morestain or paint; thin layers of brown and green, giving the whole scene a somber feeling. The style and design of the piece looks like the modernism of the first half of the 20th century-I wish I could date it more accurately. There are some scratches on the surface, and a few rub marks and worn areas on the highest parts of some of the figures, and there was a crack across the left-hand upper corner that has been rather neatly repaired. It is not easy to see unless you know where it is to look for it. I understand that this piece was one of a set of all the stations of the cross that were created sometime in the early 20th century by one of the nuns; this piece and a few others were salvaged and saved from the dump when the structure was razed some years ago. Even without better provenance that this it is an outstanding piece of art, religious or otherwise. I normally use USPS to ship items. INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE price ON FRAGILE ITEMS. There are some scratches and scuffs on the stone. there is a discolored fracture line near Moses's elbow. An older mark due to the discoloration but may be how the stone was cut.
