This is a really old antique lamp from my dad's collection. The brass is stamped No. 2 Queen Anne No. 2 and the base appears to be stamped 4170. The bottom may have been painted black at one time. I can't tell if it is original paint on the bottom. The glass is in perfect condition. Please see all photos. It measures at 21 1/2 inches and the glass alone is 12" The octagon shaped base measures at 5" Thank you!

A coal-tar derivative which was supposed to cures or alleviate any lung ailment from asthma to Pneumonia. It was offered as cure-all and then as an antiseptic from 1881 to 1950. This lamp/burner consists of a miniature kerosene lamp set in a Victorian cast-metal frame which supports a metal heat diffuser. Here is a vintage miner's oil wick cap lamp from about 100 years ago! This UNUSED lamp is only 2" tall and has an unusual dome lid that fits snugly. Lamp is made of brass except for the unusual 1/2" wide'flat' metal hook. There are a couple of very shallow pressure dents that you can see in the pictures- no cracks. No repairs. This is an ornate Victorian oil lamp from the late 1800's to approximately 1920's. It has been converted for electrical use. As you may be able to see from photographs. The conversion has been professionally done at some point, with authentic electrical plug from the 40's or 50's. The globe is original. It is ivory with primary colors of red and gold. It is truly exquisite. The cast iron is filigree. It has no imperfections that can be discerned by the naked eye. The lamp is clean. Has been kept impeccably, and is sturdy and strong. This is a very colorful oil lamp. Made in Poland. It was used once, so it still has a long wick to use. It can also be used as a decorative piece. It is in very good condition, no cracks or chips. Authentic Roman Oil Lamp Holy Land Artifact 3rd-4th Century Museum Quality
A light from the past! Circa 3rd-4th Century A.D. This Holy Land oil lamp was recently recovered from an archaeological dig. In ancient times. Oil lamps provided a light source to every household, and were made of a coarse, porous, unglazed baked clay called terra cotta. The lamps were a major commodity in the Middle East and Europe. Their color varied from dull ochre to bright red. The basic shape remained the same for over a thousand years. This particular lamp has fantastic. Intricate details and designs seldom found on most of the lamps which come up for auction. The artifact also. Has designs on the bottem another characteristic not commonly found. You are bidding on a CLEAR PRESSED GLASS OIL LAMP CHIMNEY WITH FLORAL DESIGN AND RUFFLED RIM. The clear glass. Chimney is 6 3/4 inches tall, 3 inches in diameter across the top and 2 1/4 inches in diameter across the bottom(where it fits into the lamp's burner. It has a flowing shape that measures 12 1/2 inches in circumference around the top rim, narrows to 11 1/2 inches(one inch below the rim. widens to 21 inches near the bottom where it attaches to the 1 inch footed base that fits into the fingers of the oil lamp's burner. A series of alternating 2 1/2 inch tall. 1 inch wide, elongated floral shapes and 1/2 inch diameter circles are pressed into the glass forming a decorative band around the widest part of the chimney. The chimney's top rim is decorated with a 1/4 inch tall scalloped clear glass edge. The chimney is in PERFECT ... moreCONDITION. Early. Copper& Brass Starboard Side Ships Lamp. This antique lamp was found at an estate sale in Henderson. NY on the eastern shore area of lake Ontario. The lamp is being offered as found for parts or refurbish or keep as is. The lamp stands 8.7/8" tall as is. The soot catcher or chimney cap is missing. The copper housing shows a lot of aged patina. There is a crack in the copper in the pierced trim that goes around the chimney(see image 9) The bottom door also has a split or crack(see image 5) The curved, green glass is in excellent condition for its age, just a few fine scratches and some dirt. This auction is for a very rare Miller brass binnacle hand lamp. The bottom removes with an oil lamp base with a simplex wick holder. It is signed E Miller Company made in USA and has a brand new wick. The oil lamp locks into the base. It has vent holes at the bottom and the top. It has a wood carrying handle and an Eisinglass/ isinglass front that is still intact. The lamp measures 8 ¼ inches with the handle up and 7 inches with the handle down and measures 2 ¾ inches in diameter. A ships binnacle lamp has no steel anywhere in it. It is made of all brass so that it would not interfere with the ships compass. This is a very rare piece, don't miss this opportunity to add this to your collection. Rare 19thC Boston Sandwich Glass Co. Blue Swirl Glass Oil Lamp
This oil lamp is just beautiful. Condition of the glass is very good with no chips or cracks. The brass has several splits to the brass(see last picture) but they do not detract from the lamp's good looks. The entire lamp measures 12" tall. The glass oil font is 4 1/2" the brass is 5 3/4" and the marble is 3/4" thick and 3 3/4" square. The opening at the top is 7/8" in diameter. Sorry but the burner is long gone but one can easily be found online. The color of the swirled glass font is more of a pale turquoise than blue. The lamp dates from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The whole lamp is solid with no loose parts. Thank you for viewing my auction and enjoy bidding. For the DISCERNING COLLECTOR Duncan Miller Glass Works Pattern: Three Face also known as Three Faces. Three Graces, Three Sisters EXQUISITE! After much research I cannot ascertain if this is an original from the late 1800's or one of the very early reproductions after the original molds were lost when the factory burned down. Either way. It's still a difficult piece to find in this pattern that has been beloved for more than a century! This lovely Oil/Kerosene Lamp is in wonderful condition. Standing 10 1/2 inches to the top of the burner. There are no nicks. Chips, or bruises. The underside of the base has 7 small internal fissures from the cooling process as well as some straw marks. The burner is brass(with ... moreaging) and is a Queen Anne No. 2 with a 22 at the hinge and is a screw on burner. Newer. But aged, unburnt wick. It displays fabulously! Jeannette Flash Glass Oil Lamp Red/Orange This lamp is functional. And definitely old. The total height is 14 1/2" tall. The bottom or tank is in excellent condition. There dosn't seem to be any marks in the flash. The wick mechanism works great andit& the globe holder are original. It is in 6 1/2" to the globe ring. And 6" in diameter in the center. The bottom is 4 1/2" in diameter and has three little raised feet on it. The globe is 8" high and 8" in diameter. It does have some marks in the flash and someone at sometime put some pretty fringe on it to camaflouge the missing flash. Actually it looks rather nice that way. The flash is missing above the fringe. But the rest has only a few spots. There is a replacement globe with it for the inside hurricane effect.
