This auction is for a very rare Miller brass binnacle hand lamp. The bottom removes with an oil lamp base with a simplex wick holder. It is signed E Miller Company made in USA and has a brand new wick. The oil lamp locks into the base. It has vent holes at the bottom and the top. It has a wood carrying handle and an Eisinglass/ isinglass front that is still intact. The lamp measures 8 ¼ inches with the handle up and 7 inches with the handle down and measures 2 ¾ inches in diameter. A ships binnacle lamp has no steel anywhere in it. Amazingly beautiful oil lamp by Michelle Kaptur. A very interesting lady- and a plus that she's a dog lover! It is 4" tall, 12.5" in circumference, and weighs a substantial 2 pounds 1.25 ounces. I am not an expert and don't have a loupe, but I see no flaws, fleabites, nicks, or other marks on this lovely piece, other than what appear to be a few very faint shelf marks on the bottom. Michelle Kaptur has been blowing glass since 1975. When she became the second woman in Oregon to take up the craft. Born and raised in Palm Springs, CA, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Pacific North West College of Arts in Portland, Oregon, after which she spent 10 years learning the basics of glass-blowing. This has great pressed panels in walnut of birds floral musical instruments etc. There are three beveled mirrors. one is 17 1/2 wide, 9 1/2 ins tall. The two smaller ones are 6x6 ins. Here is what is fun. In a lifetime of being in the business. I have never owned, where the flat surface would be frosted and have hand painted birds on the front of the mirror. Beautiful Vintage Oil Lamp from old farm house
This i s a beautiful old oil lamp that i got from an old ladies farm house I cleaned out about 10 years ago. This lady was a depression baby and threw nothing away! This lamp is a solid glass mold with bubbles in the glass from processing. The dome is painted a frosty rose color and has dancing maidens all the way around it, I believe the maidens were painted a white color but almost all of the color has come off but you can still see the clear detailed images of the girls and judging by their design this is a very old lamp. It measures 8 inches from top of the dome to the bottom of the base, the base is 5 inches across the bottom. The wick holder is brass and still functions but has a slight bend to it which can be moved back into place. There are no chips or creaks and I can see no marks of any kind anywhere on the glass. This is a really ... morenice old lamp that you cant go wrong on.

Antique 1892 MILLER Brass & Marble Oil/Kerosene Lamp w/ Etched Cranberry Shade
Here's a gorgeous. Antique"The Miller" lamp with the original etched glass shade. It has been electrified, with a switch on the cord to turn off and on, but I was told that it could be turned back to oil or kerosene if you wanted. The kerosene tank can be lifted out of the font. The font is solid brass and is painted with the original paint. As you can see by the pics, it's in beautiful condition. Overall, it measures 29 1/2" tall to the top of the blown glass chimney. It measures 9 3/4" across at the very bottom of the base. It's 6" wide across widest part of the font. The bottom of the ruffled, original, etched glass shade measures 3 7/8" across, outside measurements. The top of the ruffled glass shade measures 8 1/4" across, outside measurements. I believe the lamp is made out of brass or ... morebronze. As a magnet doesn't stick to any of the metal parts. The font is metal, but is painted a dark reddish brown color and the paint is the original paint. The stem part of the lamp is marble, I believe. All of the ornate and filigreed metal parts of the lamp has the original gold paint on it. The paint is in good condition, missing a tiny bit here and there where it's rubbed off, on the edges, but it certainly doesn't detract from the piece. The glass shade is the original shade with a graduated cranberry colored glass on top of the shade. It's frosted and has a beautiful etched design all around the white frosted part of the shade. The shade is perfect other than a few tiny scratches.there are no chips, no cracks, no breaks. The only flaw I can find is on the very top of the chimney, NOT the shade. There's a close-up of a stress mark on the very edge of the clear glass chimney, but it's still not broken. You can always replace the clear glass chimney. On the edge of the part of the burner is marked"Pat. June 18 1893. On the font. On the oil thingy are the words"2 Patents June 28 1892. I'm not an antique lamp expert. But I will do my best

This auction is for a superb quality. Hand blown, heavy cut glass/crystal oil lamp font that comes with a brass oil lamp burner 1.5"3.8cm screw collar. This has not been fitted. Victorian in date. The font weighs 600g unpacked. It measures 5.5"14cm diameter across the top and stands just under 4.5"11cm tall. It can either be free standing or sit in a 5.25"13.3cm drop in ring. Condition is excellent. It appears not to have been used much if at all. The foot shows very light signs of wear(see pic) and there are no chips or cracks. Unique Antique Gone With The Wind Parlor Lamp Converted From Oil To Electric
Gorgeous gwtw lamp! This lamp has an asymmetrical look with its quilted top and painted base. Yet the colors from the base are mimicked on the top globe creating such an interesting piece! The lamp stands 22 inches tall and the shades are about 9 inches in diameter. This is a converted oil to electric lamp and is quite old however the exact age is unknown. The uniqueness of this lamp is evident in it's shades. The bottom shade has lovely tulips on both the front and back posted against a two tones green background. The condition of the lamp is wonderful. There are a few age marks on the paint and the top shade has a few chips on the very top. They are very slight and hardly noticeable even up close. I cannot remove it and don't want to fo rce it to op en. S ounds like there are loose rocks or somethi n g ins ide. Red metal cap has missing letters as some the paint has been worn away thus making it hard to read. The best I can tell it says"Lockheed" across the middle of the cap and one s ide says"refuse? n" but that is all I can make out. Body of can has normal oxidization due to age but not a lot of rust. It is mounted on a very ornate brass stand and dates from around the late 19th century(Napoleon III period) The'Kosmos' burner was produced by Wild& Wessel. A German manufacturer, between 1865 and 1899. The reservoir hasn't been tested and if you are likely to use this as an oil lamp, I strongly advise you to check that it doesn't leak before lighting it. The actual screw mechanism works well and is running freely; it is not showing any signs of blockage. It does not have its glass funnel although these are fairly easy to come by. There is a tiny bit of rust underneath the brass stand(see photos) ... moreThe pattern has been transfer printed onto the ceramic body and has then been hand coloured and then glazed. There is the same design on both sides of the lamp depicting cherubs/angels/putti/amours with a woodland floral theme. There is some staining on one side of the faience commensurate with its age and use and one tiny firing fault(see photos) As shown in one picture. Hi There! This is a classic pair of Electrified Oil Gone With the Wind Lamps. That are actually a little unusual. They are solid Brass, with Marble Base's and Duplex Burners. They stand 27 inches high(2 ft. 3 inches! about 15 inches wide at the widest. There are 21 crystals on one, and 11 on the other. I plugged them in and they do light up. The part where the lamp actually goes in is loose. And the on/off switches are loose. The Ruffled Glass Shades,The actual glass is Amber Colored. I suggest that you have the lamps gone through by a professional before actually using- please! This interesting piece is composed of two seperate lamps. The smaller lamp has a rounded top. And an open slit to slide onto the larger lamp and stack upon it. The larger lamp also has a hook attached to the top to allow the lamps to hang from a particular place or possible to allow for easy transportation of the lit lamps. The lamps themselves are relatively simple in design, deep center well to hold the oil and a long nose for the wick. The piece is made of iron and down show some wear appropriate for the age and material of the piece, otherwise the piece is in great condition. ANTIQUE BRASS DUAL BURNER OIL LAMP & HANDEL STYLE SHADE
This is an antique oil lamp with a brass base and a double burner. The burner says EM Duplex& Co. It comes with a clear glass chimney and what I believe is a Handel shade. There are small flea bites on the top rim as seen in the photos. In very good condition and it is a stunning warm green color. It measures 20" high. This will be packed in two separate boxes. Up for bids a Antique 1870s Reverse Paint Glass& Cast Iron Pedestal Oil lamp. Font Only. Stands 11 1/4" tall. 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" iron base. Tiered clear font with small sunbursts inside diamonds and tied back drapes pattern. The burner mount is tight and the threads are in good condition. The mount is also marked with two patent dates that are difficult to read. The easiest to read I believe is APR 13. 1875 the other may be MCH 21, 1876. see image) Some light scratches and some impurity flaws in both the font and glass pedestal. No chips or bump marks. The iron base has been spray painted and has a number 3 cast into it underneath. Some oxidation. I also have another lamp font that is very similar in style with a blue globe. Up for Auction. A Victorian Kerosene Oil finger Lamp an 1884 Torch and Wreath pattern. This on has been painted. They did not come from the factory this way. Paint will come off with water and a brush. No chips or cracks, some factory crazing on the base. Burner base ring has a small crack. Burner is marked; P&A Co. Pat 11683& 8.17.97. This a very nice lamp, would have cleaned it but it is not mine. Comes with one lamp shade, not shown. Items paid for by PayPal will be mailed same day or next working day. Antique COPPER SCONCE w Blown Glass PARIS OIL LAMP
A wonderful find. This oil lamp comes to you from an older Chicago estate. It is molded into a solid copper plate/sconce. The handle on the lamp is marked. PARIS. I can't move this up or down. The bottom of the lamp is white with blown yellow flower accents. There should be a top glass portion, but I did not find it. Wick is in place, but I don't know how to light it. See photo#5. The back is copper with raised pleated oval form along the rim. Loop at the back from which you hang on a wall. No damage to the copper. Measures 14" tall and 8 3/4" wide. Extends 5 inches. The lamp base measures 4 1/2" across and 2 3/4" high and 5 3/4" high to top of the brass lamp base. Complicated for me to describe. As I've not seen another like this. Thank you.
