BRASS WHALE OIL or CAMPHENE LAMP w ORIGINAL BURNER. C. 1840-70 This is a small brass lamp for either whale oil. Or perhaps camphene, and circa 1840 to maybe 1870s, or so, and it looks like it is probably American in origin. Lamp is 6" high with a 2 1/2" base, and it is complete with the original screw in burner. The font is urn shaped, and it sits on three tall brass rods attached to the small domed brass base. The lamp has a great old color and patina and it has not been polished in years. It is just slightly loose, as the rods are probably peened over inside both the closed base and font, so they can't be tightened up at all without taking the lamp apart. I have not seen another lamp quite like this one, so I had a little difficulty dating it precisely. Up for bid is a very rare Blue Milk Glass miniature oil lamp with fired on Angels and Decorations. This oil lamp measures almost 9" tall from the bottom to the top of the shade. The lamp itself measures 6" to the base for the shade. It measures 3" in diameter at the widest point. This is a very old lamp the shade has some imperfections to it in not sure if that how it was made or somewhere after if got a nick on it. I took pictures showing the condition of the shade so please refer to the pictures for the conditioning. It dont not some with the the chimney and where the chimney goes some metal prongs have cracked off. Im sure these two things can be easily fixed. Just acquired out of a Midwest estate. We are able to offer this original 1890's era ~ FROSTED SATIN GLASS GONE WITH THE WIND OIL LAMP ~. The matching shade and base are original to each other. This is a fairly large lamp measuring 23 inches tall. The over all condition is quite nice and it has been electrified at some point in its life. It looks like the font was drilled to run the wire through, and I also see a crack in the brass font along the side. There is no damage to base or shade with the exception of a some expected small little chips or roughness around the bottom fitter end of the globe, that is not seen when placed in the frame. I believe that this lamp was possibly made by Pittsburgh, although I am fairly certain that the collectors will recognize it. A new mantle, Aladin chimney and shade. We're not sure if the shade is the original one or not. The Vertique Aladdin was made circa 1938 for just a limited time. The Pink Moonstone B-87 was originally finished with rose gold metal finish including the Model B burner. Condition on the lamp is great. The glass has no chips. Cracks, or stains. Antique 19C c1880 EAPG Coolidge Drape Oil~Kerosene Sewing Lamp ~NR Up for auction a wonderful EAPG oil lamp. The design or pattern in this lamp is the Coolidge Drape because if flows or falls like a drape and President Coolidge was seen in a picture with this style of lamp. The Eagle burner is in place but still needs to be cleaned; not rusted. Good shape and the wick adjustment does work. The chimney is missing but so easy to replace. The lamp is 11 inches tall without the chimney and about 7.5 inches wide. This would be the larger sewing lamp. The lamp is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or stains. This lamp would be lovely with a red or blue fuel. These lamps are not only beautiful pieces of our history but they become vital when we lose electricity. ORNATE BRASS ANTIQUE OIL KEROSENE STUDENT LAMP MILLER? FOR RESTORATION
Sorry. No International Shipping. Please note that our photos are below the item description. This antique student lamp is in need of restoration. It has been electrified at some time in the past. Luckily the wire came out of the burner section and no other holes or alterations were made in the lamp. In the 5th row of photos you can see the slight separation in the ribbing at the bottom where the wire came out. Other minor problems are there is some solder at the top of the oil tank with some very minor metal fatigue at the top. There is a dent on the inside of the oil tank also shown in the 5th row of photos. Obviously the burner has also been altered. There are no other dents. Splits or damages on the lamp. The lamp is made of solid brass(except for the weight in the base) and would polish up beautifully if that was your desire. Although ... morewe cannot find any maker's mark we believe the lamp to be made by the Miller Lamp Company. It stands 21 1/2" tall, is 14 1/2" wide and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. This is a nice antique brass oil lamp font with an Apollo brand duplex burner. It measures 3 7/8" in diameter at the bottom x 7" high. The wheel adjusters for the wick work fine and there are no holes or dents to the font. Large Pedestal Glass Oil Lamp Lantern Burner Chimney Wick
Offered for sale is a vintage glass oil lamp with burner. Chimney and wick. My best guess is that all three pieces are not original to each other. The lamp base is all clear glass with a large round font and a pedestal(although not marked, I think it's American made) The top of the font is threaded and the burner screws into the glass. The burner is marked"Made in Hong Kong" on the inside of the turner knob. The chim ney has a large round portion in the middle and it has a white painted on design of torches and wreaths. The lamp has oil residue inside(that's the orange color in the photos) and there is one bubble in the glass that doesn't reach the surface. O therwise it is in very good condition. All three parts. Base, burner with wick, and chimney are in very good condition. There are no nicks, no chips, no cracks, ... moreand no dents. The mechanism and knob that twist the wick up and down works well. Antique E. Miller Banquet Oil Lamp Dragon Shade A very nice antique banquet oil lamp made by E. Miller Co. Metal base is made of spelter. With I believe the original gilt finish which shows some wear in places, but is otherwise is great shape with no breaks or repairs. Fantastic filigree font holder with dragons and lion head handles and all around finely detailed base. The font has a patch on the bottom from an old electrification but it holds oil fine, it will actually need to be emptied of oil before shipment. The burner is a nice Miller duplex in working condition, just needs new wicks. Shade is a 10 inch cased pink glass shade with gold dragons and fleur-de-lis. Has brass top ring and 4 inch fitter with only issues being a little gold lose to dragons, mostly on one side due to many years of dusting and handling. This is a very nice antique oil lamp. It has a burner which is marked RAYO Queen Anne No. 2 The lamp is 11.5" to the top of the burner. The base is about 5" in diameter. The globe is not original to the lamp. There are no chips. Cracks, dings, or repairs. The pedestal is narrow where it is attached to the oil font. Most lamps I've seen look very chunky, and this looks more elegant to me. It narrows to about a 5" circumference at the top of the pedestal. It needs a wick. The burner is missing one of the pieces that hold the chimney. I will carefully pack this to guard against breakage en route. I appreciate payment within 3 days of purchase. Thanks!

Antique Victorian Duplex Brass Double Student Oil Lamp Electric Original Globes
Hi. You are bidding on the most beautiful lamp. It is a Duplex student oil lamp that was converted to electric. You can see by the cord and plug that it is one of the oldest electric lamps you will ever see. It has been tested and did work when I bought it but the cord is super old. I would get a second opinion before you use the cord. The globes are LOVELY and even more beautiful in person. They are in good condition with no nicks or cracks. The globes measure approximately ten inches across at the bottom and 4.5 inches or so on the top. The entire lamp is 27 inches when measured from base to top of chimneys. I believe the chimneys are also original in that they look like old glass and they are the exact measurements of the original chimneys. One of the chimneys has some roughness around the base where it goes into the metal but it is not ... morechipped. If you collect these antique lamps. I think you are going to love this one. There are problems, but minimal. I see that there is one lamp socket that is sort of tipped to one side. There is some difficulty getting the round base for the chimney into the larger frame for the glass globe. But I think that all of these issues are probably just a part of owning a lamp like this. Unusual 3 Arm C1880s Counterweight Hanging Oil Lamp Frame Prisms Ansonia Meriden UP FOR AUCTION: H ERE'S AN UNUSUAL 3-ARM HANGING OIL LAMP FRAME. Hanging lamp measures approx. 32" long and 16" wide. The heavy cast brass patterned ceiling cap with three wood wheels. Has three chains running to the shade ring and the ornate ten pound counter weight ball. Ceiling hardware rod is 19" long. Includes t he original brass font with#3 size collar for duplex type 1 3/4" thread No. 3 burner. Shelved shade ring with 36 prisms. No smoke bell. Unusual early frame. First we have run across, ca. 1880s Eastlake style, manufacturer probably Ansonia or Meriden Malleable. Condition is excellent overall. No breaks or damage or repairs noted on the frame. P atina nice and deep. Dirty and dusty from the estate. The prisms look good. Dusty ... morewith some replacements and minor tip chipping. We couldn't quite figure out how to get the frame assembled exactly. Will need some tinkering and maybe some extra chains. Will ship frame disassembled as able for safer shipping. Vintage Aladdin Corinthian clear Glass Oil/Kerosene Lamp-Light,Mod-B
Up for auction is a vintage 1930's ALADDIN CORINTHIAN kerosene lamp with globe. Item is in very nice condition for age. shows some wear on the metal trim pieces and may need a new wick. Burner is in good condition. Im not sure the globe is original. But it is an aladdin globe. The base has a very nice green hew to it. If you have any questions. Please ask.
