13 inch high figural stem oil Lamp. This lamp has a 4 3/4 inch square X 1 inch high metal base. The figure is of a hunter or soldier with his dog and his rifle leaning against a tree. The figure is 5 1/2 inches tall and is supporting a brass colored base that holds a glass font for the lamp oil. The glass is 2 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/4 inches across. Vintage Miners Oil Wick Lamp Stamped 'GRIER BROS. PITTSBURG' mining caving
Here is a small(2" to the lid) miner's oil wick lamp. Vintage from about 100 years ago. This used lamp has a shield stamped on the side with"ST*AR* GRIER BROS. PITTSBURG, PA. inside the shield. Note the old spelling of Pittsburgh- and the stamping is completely legible with a magnifying glass. Inside of the lamp is clean with no rust, and this lamp has a spout liner or double spout. Antique MILLER& Co. Meridan Connecticut Oil Lamp Miners STEAMPUNK Brass Glass This is an interesting old lamp. I must mention that although it appears to have all the parts to make it work. It has a screw at the base but I do not know what it went into. The screw extension is not hollow—it's solid, with an indention in the bottom. This is 2 pieces that. When together as shown in a photo, measure 10-1/2” high and 3-1/2” in diameter at the widest point of the bottom. These pieces go together very smoothly. It has 2 glass windows on one side for light. The glass squares slide in from the top. As you can see in the photo there are a couple of chips to one side of one glass plate but this doesn't show when in the lamp. There is a door in the back but when opened it only shows the wick. The way this piece is currently situation. It ... moredoes not give access to the wick raiser which is on the side and too low to reach in any position. The metalwork on the door is beautifully done. Notice the curl of the metal to form the handle and hinges. The same curled work of metal is above each window. The rivets are in great shape. There are 3 rows of pierced venting.2 at the top and one with small holes in the section beneath the windows. There are two dents or flattened areas to the very top of this piece. The metal is quite thick and the full piece weighs 1 pound. 9 ounces. The bottom portion holds the wick and oil I believe. The wick does move via the raiser but I don't know how much wick is left. It looks like that portion should be removable but I didn't want to risk damage as it wouldn't move easily. There is some solder underneath the rim that runs around just below the wick raiser but it doesn't appear to be in the seam. In its present condition I cannot tell if this piece is all brass or a mix of copper and brass. Even the screw is one or the other as well. The outside is clean. The inside has some soot but I will leave further cleaning and/or polishing to you. The only mark I can find is on the wi

I have for your consideration a Antique Victorian Wall Mounted Sconce Cast Iron Oil Lamp with Font. This wall mounted cast iron lamp also swings out or extends and folds up neatly. Bracket measures 10" folded without the wall mount. 17" with arm extended and is 7 1/2" tall without font in place. The wall mount is 4 3/4" x 2 3/16" I believe the wall mount and bracket are not original to each other. Both cast iron pieces are in very nice condition. With not breaks or repairs. Arm swings out freely. The font does have a small bruise to the molded ring just above the cast iron bracket when it is in place and what looks to be a drill hole to the bottom that has been filled. Antique Fraternal? Ciborium & Oil Lamp w/Porcelain Inserts -Chalice - Knights
Fine Items from ALittleUnlimited Description A beautiful pair of antique ceramonial items dating to the 19th century. Possibly used by a Fraternal organization. The ciborium features intricate iron work with much detail and openwork including figural, three dimensional knights on the base. The inset porcelain medallions are beautifully hand painted with cobalt blue, black and gold, the front featuring a crowned male figure with an ermine collar, the back and four side medallions with various pieces of armor. As shown in the photographs one of the side medallions has a crack. The oil lamp or incense burner(the caps have holes in them- possibly for the perfumed smoke to escape) has a knight in armor holding a standard at the top with the same quality of porcelain inserts as the ciborium decorated with various pieces of armor. There is some residue in the pot section from use. It has a double base with a small square carved under the larger square. it is all one piece. It is heavy and weighs 1.3 kilograms. this is a very rare antique brass Bradley& Hubbard ornate victorian oil burning lamp. it is very rare and complete. With a stunning, hand painted, vibrant, floral painting on a milk glass with a gorgeous light purple lining. the handles are made from a white metal and have a very detailed stylized dragon design. the body is also very ornate and made from brass with heavily embossed flowers and thin scrolls. has a nice thick footed base and a stunning large brass burner that removes and sits perfectly recessed in the gorgeous base. the cape is embossed B&H and has a knob on the side for the wick and flame control. it adjusts and also moves the shade up and down. the piece is in great shape and measures 19 inches tall by 10 1/4 inches the only defect in the whole piece is if you look at the bottom of the burner that sits inside the ... morebase there are a couple small dents.
