COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG PINEAPPLE CANISTER SET Up for auction is a very hard-to-find canister set made for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Virginia. The set includes 3 canisters decorated with a large pineapple on the front and back sides. The canister base and knob of the lid are trimmed with pineapple leaves. Each canister has a gently curved shape and a tight plastic seal to keep staples fresh. The colors are"Williamsburg blue" on white. The largest canister stands about 10 1/2" tall to the top of the lid(7 1/2" with lid removed) and the base is 6 5/8" in diameter. The medium canister is 9 1/2" tall(7" without lid) and the base is 5 7/8" wide. I purchased these pineapple canisters at an estate sale several weeks ago. They are no longer available from Colonial Williamsburg vendors and are very difficult to find. Condition of these Colonial Williamsburg canisters is EXCELLENT with no chips. Cracks, fleabites, or crazing. They are very clean and the lids still close tight. The plate was produced for Colonial Williamsburg by" Andrea by Sadek" as part of the"Manvers Scroll" line of dinnerware and table accessories. The back describes the pattern; The Manvers Scroll design on this plate demonstrates a'Continental Influence' on English porcelain. The face is beautifully decorated with extensive scrolling in gold enamel and shades of amethyst and lavender. The foliage with berry motif shows fine detail and rich color throughout. Complimenting the tufted cranberry border band. The plate measures 10 ½" in diameter and 1" deep. Here is a Awesome pair of Virginia Metalcrafters Colonial Williamsburg large pricket/spike candlesticks. Each measures about 7 1/2" tall not including the spike and about 4" diameter at the base. They are both in excellent condition with no real issues. There is a small amount of residual wax here and there. One of the Spikes was Raised 1/4" higher than the Other There are a very few very minimal surface marks. One was used More than the Other. See photo for VM/CW marks on the Underside of the Top where the Candle sits. They are sold as a pair. NO RESERVE- Excellent Collectables.
