Introduced in 1956 and discontinued in 1998 by Wedgwood, is in their Queen’s shape dinnerware and was named for Queen Charlotte that commissioned Josiah Wedgwood to make a service for her personal use. It is decorated in a rich fruit and flower pattern taken from an antique fabric. The bread& butter plate measures about 6 5/8 in diameter. It is in excellent vintage used condition with no chips. Cracks, flea bites or crazing. Some pieces do show some normal wear such as utensil marks from use but this clearly was a“holiday only” used set of china. New debut offering this week is a nicely proportioned vintage custom bench made Mahogany Rectangular Cut Corner Top Candlestand with Queen Anne leg snake feet on a turned baluster in very nice condition preowned and deaccessioned from a Keystone estate ready to be used in your colonial home. Please look at the pictures taken outside in natural sunlight. Vintage American made Candlestand is marked on the bottom Solid Mahogany. But appears as if original retailer tag/manufacturer ID is missing by shadow underneath. It is American bench made quality circa 1920's with good lines, nice weight for its size, and period styled shape and sits very sturdy on the floor and stable. It measures 27" tall and 12" by 17" across the rectangular ... moretop with cut corner handsome edges and a slender thickness top. The snake foot legs are mortised into the base pedestal but not dovetailed. Two feet have an added metal cap and one has a felt pad to protect floor, remove them as you wish after purchase. The item is from smoke free home all around. It may also be used as a Wine Stand or small lamp table chair side, so versatile, you can tuck it anywhere.
