Has the original hang tag with information containing the history of Williamsburg. Stands around 13 inches tall. He has only been displayed in a glassed in curio cabinet and protected from UV rays. He has the handwritten Byers signature on the back of the green base stand. There is a little paint loss on the bottom of the stand please see the photos. Magnificent Circa 1973 Colonial Williamsburg Kittinger Chippendale Sofa CW 23
This is a Rare& Magnificent circa 1770 George III English Chippendale Style Humpback Sofa made by Kittinger of Buffalo for the Colonial Williamsburg line of Furniture and originally sold through the Craft House Catalog. This sofa is model"CW23" dates to the early to mid 1970's. The piece is fresh out of a fine estate where it was housed in the living room. This upholstery is rarely seen. It is a Chinese Ivory with Colonial Williamsburg raised blue in a floral or botanical pattern. I've included a few photos from the 1973 Craft House Catalog of this sofa, the price list shows this was one of the finest sofas you could buy. The 3 front legs are carved in the oriental fretwork motif that was popular in the late 18th century. The condition is excellent with normal very minor wear to the legs, the upholstery has no tears ... morebut this sofa was used and enjoyed. There were a few small stains here and there that I had removed. The sofa measures 73" long, 31 1/2" deep and 30" tall at the hump. This sofa is hard to find and extremely rare in this combination. I found the word Camsburg branded into the back left leg, the Colonial Williamsburg stamp is branded on the back right leg. THIS A RARE AP 102 OBLONG BOMBE TEA CADDY HAND MADE AT THE FIVE POINTS CABINET SHOP IN WILLIAMSBURG CA 1955-60. THE SHOP WAS LOCATED ABOUT 4 MILES FROM THE COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG RESTORED AREA. THE SHOP MADE ALL THE REPRODUCTION WOODENWARE FOR COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG'S RESTORATION PROGRAM UNTIL MERGING WITH VICTORIOUS INC AND THEN VIRGINIA METALCRAFTERS. VIRGINIA METALCRAFTERS SADLY IS NOW OUT OF BUSINESS. THE SHOP MADE WILLIAMSBURG REPRODUCTION WOODEN ITEMS AND SOLD THEM OUTSIDE OF COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG AS WELL. Colonial Williamsburg Dinnerware: Bread and Butter Plate size 6 1/2" diameter- Shield's Tavern: Based on a delft plate probably made in London during the 1740s. The design of this dinnerware service is interpreted from a plate in the Colonial Williamsburg collection which relates to fragments found on the actual site of Shield's Tavern in Williamsburg. This interpretation incorporates unusual design elements such as the manganese purple ground and the peacock. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Excellent condition, unused was displayed only in a sealed cabinet, piece has no damage, free of any chips, cracks or repairs, Williamsburg stamp on bottom side.

Williamsburg Pottery of Virginia Colonial Birdhouse. Model T-5. Hand made bottle style birdhouse. Unglazed terra cotta surface. To use, simply hang on a peg horizontally on the outside of a house or other structure. Place a twig or small branch in the side hole to act as a perch. A wonderful recreation of a 18th century ceramic birdhouse. No chips, cracks or damage. It has never been used to house birds, but does show some wear due to years of storage.
