Vintage Collectible Dime Bank - Ohio Art - Circa 1950's
This item is a mechanical coin bank that was made to encourage a child to save money. The bottom is pressed into the bank in such a way that it must be full to remove it. The tiny holes and markings on the side let you see how much you have accumulated in fifty-cent increments. When the bank is full($5.00) you tighten the screw and the dimes push the bottom out. This bank was made in the USA by the Ohio Art Company. And is a nice collectible conversation piece.

I found this piece in one of my favorite antique"haunts" Just thought it was a fascinating piece as I have no idea what it could be other than decorative, I say this as the bottom of pyramid is open, as pictured in photo#3, which led me to believe at first that it was for a candle. Having inspected piece, I can find no venting, so again, it appears to be decorative only. It is as I view, Art Deco in styling, sodered metal with a milky-pink/peach opaque marble patterned glass accentuated with clear Amber colored detailing of circles or"windows" on 3-sides, mid-section, and accenting uppermost peak of pyramid. Measures approx. 9-1/4" high, each of the 3-sides of pyramid are approx. 4" in width. This is in great condition, I see no chips, cracks ... moreor other issues of any kind. Idaho Ne z Perce Tribe buckskin dress with fringes. Bead s and shells. This is a vintage dress whic h I have owned for at least 4 0 years and it has been well taken care of since. It measures 36 inches in length by 16 wide. Has been worn and is in good shape exce pt fo r a few m issing beads. The leather is very supple. Hard for me to judge the size. This is a very nice item of European pottery and very collectible too. Still has its original sticker: Grès d'Art Dubois. The bottom is also engraved Dubois with what looks like number C14 It is 8 inches tall and most of all it is in a perfect condition.

This is a Beautiful Vintage Hull Art Pottery Piece. Sunglo Basket. Marked USA 84. It has residue from florist glue in the bottom. Not really glue. But not sure what you call it. Can be removed with some work. The outside bottom has some issues as shown in picture, but appears to be from production. There is fine crazing all around that can especially be seen with a magnifying glass. Quite beautiful for display! No chips or nicks. Please contact me with any questions.
