Machined rivets and solid manufacture, made post industrial revolution(uniform machined rivets) but the brass handle show hand forgoing, hammer marks. The handle is big and attached really well for the heavy weights. The rim has a lip that covers a metal ring that supports the pot on the handle as well as those rivets that attach directly to the pot. I can find no mark other than the"3" on the brass and a star in relief on the wood handle. It's a beauty and will look great hanging in your kitchen but I think it really wants to be put back in action-a pot like this will be a privilege to cook with. It has no other metal lining. this is an extremely rare handmade antique Persian copper and brass urn. it was made in early 1800's and made from thick heavy copper and brass. And dovetailed together. it has exquisite ornate hand engraved detailing on all sides and the handles are exquisite highly embossed lion heads with rings in mouth. the lid has a gorgeous figural brass finial. With a double face on both sides, the piece has exquisite patina from age and is in good shape. No dents. it is signed on the bottom. And measures 13 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches. This is an very large. Rare 2 gallon antique tea pot made primarily of brass. The bottom is copper and seems to have been welded on at some point as there is a weld line all the way around the bottom. The condition is a little rough; there are a few dings, the metal is dull, and the bottom is blackened from use, but it is still useable and would make a nice display piece because if its age and unique size. This item will be packed well with care and insured.

Age of this piece is thought to be early 1900s. Mineral deposits inside the pot from use and age. The lid wobbles a bit when lifted. But is firmly attached to the handle. There is a dark strip across the bottom of the pot where a piece of tape may have been. This antique Dallah. Is a traditional pot with a long spout, used to make Arabic coffee. The Dallah a traditional Arabic symbol of welcome as coffee is always served ... moreto guests soon after arrival. Rules of etiquette when serving the cardamom flavored coffee require the host or hostess to personally hand each small cup(finjan) to the guest with the right hand, after pouring the coffee from the pot(dallah) with the left. In Saudi Arabia, the ritual of serving coffee is a sign that a guest is welcome and honored by his host. This antique brass coffee pot has a lightly hammered surface and has a hand stamped maker's mark and a name are engraved in Arabic near the top of the vessel. This is a good sized pot measuring approximately 15" high and 12½" from tip of spout to rear of handle. It is made of brass and appears to be tin plated on the inside. There are coffee stains and mineral deposits on the inside probably from boiling water in it. There is a small dent on the bottom beneath the handle but otherwise just wear normal from handling. The brass has a rich patina of age. The handle has copper rivets holding it to the pot also holding the lid handle on. For sale is a RARE BRASS JAM POT MARKED with a SPHINX and some writing that I am unable to decipher at this point. I have never seen a piece with this mark before and I can not find another online. I have spent hours researching this maker's mark and I'm coming up with nothing! PLEASE-if anyone has in formation about the origin of this mark. Let me know! I have listed this one at a higher price due this maker's mark. You know, anything with a mark/signature has higher value and is more collectible. It has been well used and has all the character and dings of a much loved piece. Antique Chinese Brass Kettle Teapot 8 1/2" wide/ 11" From Spout/ 7" Deep/ 11" to Top of Handle Wonderful old brass tea kettle decorated with people in oriental garden setting with bamboo. Clouds, bats and lotus flowers etched, engraved, pounded and hammered with nice texture and beautiful detail. This has a dovetailed cover with notched turn and lock style lid, there is an applied Bat with 4" wide wing span surrounding the spout and it is marked with writing that says Made in China in fancy old style wide lettering. There are thick calcium deposits and build up inside, the bottom is a little warped at the base so it wobbles slightly, the black swag handle may have repairs and is attached with rivets. This was an estate sale purchase in the early 1970's from an antique dealer that passed away years ago, it has ... morenot been polished for at least 10 years and does show the age with light oxidation and natural patina. There are minor dents and dings around the lower section and base is pushed in a little on side under spout, maybe from tipping when full and some copper is showing through on base. This is a vintage or antique pail. Recently purchased at an estate sale. I am unsure of it's age. It is unmarked and looks to be quite old. Constructed of metal that is copper in color, I don't know if it is actually copper. The bale handle is constructed of solid and heavy brass and it is attached in a very primitive manner. This is an extremely rare antique handmade 18th century Asian water pot. the wooden walls of this bucket is cut from one large piece of wood/tree so has no seams nor was it pieced together. It is composed of two pieces of wood. The sides and the bottom. a very rare design. The wooden structure is decorated with both vertical and horizontal extremely ornate brass bands which are raised and dimensional with beautifully hand engraved and cut out detailing. the pieces are beautifully riveted together with heavy duty brass rivets. the inside. Bottom, and rim also have the same beautiful brass pieces running down the walls to the bottom of the bucket. the handle is handmade from thick brass and a very innovative design which pivots up and down. each exposed wooden panel has a hand cut and engraved animal made from brass. it has Elephants. You are bidding on a vintage brass pedestal base. Flower pot. With a odd punched metal motif of designs, vines, monkeys? man? bird? I'm not sure. I am also not sure of the age or the origin of this well crafted solid pot. It measures roughly 8 3/4' inches high by 9 1/2' wide& weighs a little over 3 pounds. It sets well balanced on its 4 legs& round metal base with more decorative vine designs. There is a hole in the bottom for drainage. I have left this pot in the condition I found it, with some white paint spots(I think will clean off) There is some greening of some of the metal surfaces. This is a beautiful antique brass Samovar. I think it is from Russia but purchased in Iran. It is very tarnished and hard to read the markings what I found was 6 circles 2 with heads inside the circle 2 with maybe wheat and some writing BETYA and some other words just dont know. The condiition is not wonderful but not bad. What you cant see in the pictures there is a drip underneath may be a loose weld also the spigot doesnt work this is probaly due to the high mineral deposits insde. The bottom ornate base is thin brass kinda beat up and it has a couple splits. There is surface rust on the tray. There are some dings and dents on this set and one wooden knob has a split it is still durable though. With the teapot this stands 21" high and the brass water urn piture stands about 14"h. This is a very unique hand forged Antique Russian Brass Kettle made with primitive welding with Goose Neck spout. It has Maker Markings on the Bottom. It is dated circa 1860 to 1880. Has wonderful Patina! There are not cracks or broken parts. I have not cleaned it at all- I do not want to damage it or change the look! It is over 150 years old! The size of the pot is 4 3/4" Tall. Rare Antique Persian 41/2 Gallon Hand Hammered Brass Teapot/Coffee Pot
I bought this at an estate sale. This is 181/2 inches tall with handle up and 141/2 with handle down and it is 201/2 inches wide with spout included and 141/2 without spout. I believe it is about 41/2 gallons. I have taken this to several antique dealers they have all told me pretty much the same they have no idea of the orgin but tell me they believe it is to be the 18th or 19th century and it is hand hammered and brass on the outside and zinc on the inside, as you can see in the picture it has roosters on the handle the dealers told me I should be able to get between 2,500 to 4,000 for this I am starting this out low so my loss is your gain. please any question and I will answer the best I can

I Make Few Bucks LET'S BENEFIT TOGETHER UP FOR AUCTION: ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU BRASS COFFEE PERCULATOR BY CARL DEFFNER MADE IN ESSLINGEN. GERMANY The featured item represents a coffee percolator that measures approximately 7 3/4" tall. A coffee percolator works by sending boiling water upwards. Through a tube to the top of a perforated basket, where it rains down over the coffee grounds, and back down into the boiling water to start the process repeatedly. The piece brass made on the exterior and appears to be lined with tin or similar on the interior. In order to separate the two parts you have to unscrew the wooden handle that measures approx. 4/3" altogether with the attached threaded brass coupling. The openings of the two parts are about 4 3/4" in diameter ... moreand the bottom and the top 2 1/2" in diameter. The bottom part has a spout and the top one has a perforated basket and spreader cover that. If I am not wrong there should be also a pump tube stem that appears to be missing. The bottom is marked with"Germany" 6 tass" 0.72 lit. and the makers logo made of a shield containing crossed war axes and the letters C on left, D on right and E on the bottom. CDE" stands for Carl Deffner. Esslingen. Carl Deffner(1856-1948) took over management of his father's metalware factory in 1900. The business was originally established by Carl Christian Ulrich Deffner around 1815 in Esslingen, Germany. Deffner was responsible for many excellent designs during the art nouveau and art deco periods. The factory closed in 1959. As I mentioned above. Most likely the tube that goes in the middle of the basket is missing. There are some small dents on the top of the lid. Some more on the bottom and a bigger one at the lower part of the body, near the bottom rim. Some other minor dings and small dents throughout. The brass shows patina. Overall it measures about 4 1/4" high. 6 1/2" from the end of the handle to the very end of the spout. Made from thick very heavy brass.The long spout has a stylized design with a very ornate solid brass spout plug.The base is a thick brass and footed with beautiful ornate feet.There are two carrying handles with thick ornate brass mounts with cut wooden handles. they swivel and stop when they get to a 90% angle.There are two removable pieces to the top of this samovar.
