Antique Hollow Cast Pot Metal Buddha Incense Burner& Small Solid Brass Statue. The incense burner is a little over 3 1/2" high by 2 1/2 across the base. I was told he's from the late 40's to early 50's. His felt on the bottom is badly faded. The small solid brass statue is 2 3/8" tall by 1 1/2" across the base. Very detailed but could use a good cleaning, it also has a felt base.

Unique Brass Teapot on Iron Stand. This one has a wooden handle and a warmer on the iron stand. Is in good condition. Several small dents from age. A little bit of pitting in places. It is about 9.5" tall with stand, 5" tall(teapot) and 8" round. The bottom of the teapot is marked trade mark S&Co. The edge of the warmer says Pat. January 12, 1832. From a smoke free home. May 19 1896 S Sternau & Co Antique Brass Coffee Pot Burner Stand Victorian (596-
This is a piece that has been in our family for numerous years and was purchased from an antique store. It is an antique coffee pot that sits on a burner type stand. We did not keep the paperwork on this particular piece. So please forgive me as I will do my best to describe it. The bottom base is stamped on the bottom in a circle, Patented May 19, 1896. The pieces have a brass type coating to a metal interior. There is a lot of tarnish and exposed metal to it now and base has a hairline crack on one of its sides with a lot of rusting underneath it. The bottom center of stand has a burner in the middle with some hardened material that has always been inside of it and it is covered with a metal netting; note that there are some tears in this metal netting and that the mound inside is hard and lumpy which does not allow the separate circular ... moremetal cover with a handle to sit on it flushly(we have never wanted to remove anything on this since purchasing it) The separate circular cover with wood handle sits over the burner section and the center piece of it will open and close. The coffee pot is light with four total knobs on it to hold it on the stand; it has a small chip in the metal on the bottom of spout opening and it also has a a small dent in upper section. The coffee pot has a wood handle on it and the top knob on lid is also made of wood. The bottom of the coffee pot has a stamp on it that says Trade Mark and then has a logo type design between it that looks like an S& Co that stands for S Sternau& Co. When put together. This stands, with the handle raised, approximately 12 inches tall(9-1/2 inches tall without handle raised) diameter of base is approximately 6 inches. This is something that is definitely very old and does have much tarnish to it but we are hoping that someone who loves antiques will treasure this as much as our family has. I have not seen one like this anywhere! Brass and copper with intricate metalwork on the brass parts- handle. Mid-section and spout. Please look closely at the pictures to truly appreciate the beauty of this piece. It has a Unique wild dog/lion head looking handle with copper/brass pot with long spout. The dog tail is curled and his head is bent back in an open snarl/ or bark. His ears are in a twisted/curled position. It stands almost 7" high and is about 10 1/2" +- from the handle to the end of the spout. I believe it is missing its cap as it looks as if a chain would have connected the cap to the dogs mouth. There are some listed on eBay that are similar that vary greatly in price up to $775. Maybe the papers will give you the information you need! I believe that it is Arabic brass. Large pot that measures about 10 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" round base. As you can see in the pictures. The lid does not go back as far as it seems that it should and I didn't want to force it. May just need oil. The underside of the lid(last picture) has the maker's mark as well as on the bottom. Antique-Vintage Douro Copper / Brass Coffee Pot Portugal
This is an old COPPER/BRASS DOURO coffee pot in fantastic condition for its age. There is a small dent on the bottom but it does not leak. It holds water and works just like it should. The bottom half of the hinge that holds the cover in place is there but the top half that was on the cover is gone. Antique Chinese My client's mother brought the basket back from China in the 1930s Country Woven Wicker Tea Pot Cozy Basket with Brass Handles and Lock Measurements 6 3/4" Total Height 7 1/2" Diameter of Top 6 1/4" Diameter of Bottom 11 ounces Wicker has sporadic minor wear overall plus vertical area of wear below the back's ring hinges and some horizontal wear to the right of the front lock plate. Brass lock plate and handles have minor surface rub wear. Decorative thin copper band is wrinkled and where wraps around the base onto the bottom it is bent over- easily manipulated to flatten out. This basket once was a tea pot cozy which still has its padded and lined lid. The fabric which is hand sewn into the lid. Is worn and its red dye has transferred to a small portion of the back top inside rim of the lower basket. ... moreThe bottom of the basket once was also padded and lined. That padding is now gone but there are a few remnants of the padding stuck on the bottom. Lid slides back and forth on the top rim if pushed as it is attached with ring hinges. Ring hinges and lock plate are mounted on decorative incised rosette brass bands. Basket has not been cleaned or polished. Photographs show rotated views of the basket with detail.
