Yet another beautiful piece acquired from local affluent estate based in Nottinghamshire. England. Stunning set of 2 Chinese landscape silk/ textile pictures- framed. A beautiful scene with mountains. Waterfalls. The text is a poem. Using old Chinese characters as well as some of Kanji characters making the translation quite challenging: 飞花送酒舂三月，芳草留人雨一川。 蜡烛未销香炷在，旧游如梦话前年。 前年寄宿老僧房， 清梦而今绕上方。 玉洞桃花万松里， 重游惟恨少刘郎" March. Spring, flowing wine, floating flowers; Mountain. Rain, wondering people, wondering grass; Aroma sticks sign with candle in tears; Visited place. Same travel mate. A room in temple.
