I am selling an Early Vintage 1940's Sears Dunlap Wood Lathe JUNIOR model#103 Original Paint. I did some research online and believe this is a 1941 SEARS CRAFTSMAN DUNLAP JUNIOR Lathe as pictured. Cool blue color and ART DECO look to it. All of the stamped part numbers seem to match so i believe it is all original. 10326-103 through 10329-103. Measures aprox 22-23 inches in length. Great restoration or display piece or simply hook it up to a motor and use it as is. There is some surface rust. The lathe is Solid so are the tools, all tools are free moving and includes newer belt. Please see pictures before you bid. What you see is exactly what you will receive.

heres a wonderful rare early general store'OPEN' wood sign dating from at least the turn of the last century into the 19th century. its hand carved with a floral motif background. appears to be early gesso painted and the lettering and border was originally painted silver and repainted blue at a later date however the blue paint is still quite old. it measures 16 1/4' x 7 1/4' x 3/4' solid wood. some minor wood loss but still remains nice and solid. the best early classic open sign I have ever seen. would look outstanding in a quaint shop or boutique.

Some minor scuffs to wood but overall excellent antique condition The wood mount back plate. 22 1/2" long, 7 1/2" wide at top, 6 3/4" wide at bottom, 5/8" thick board. The face is in old crackled gray. There are 10 arms or drying racks. Each is 21" long and as none are broken or split. Beautiful condition. At the top is an Iron Crown which the arms slide up and through to eventually fall over the iron crown and out to hold whatever pleases you. Wash, herbs, etc The bottom has more iron to which the 10 arms are attached. This piece slides up the metal rod to meet the iron crown at the top at which point the arms fall over the top and out to hold wash. The Glass Eyes are perfectly intact and most of the original neck putty is perfectly intact. There is a very small spot of the original neck putty that has chipped out on the right rear of the neck, which is quite normal as a great many of the vintage Mason decoys that you see have had some type of Restoration or replacement done to their neck putty; but not this old decoy up for auction! Vintage Wood Used Working Duck Decoy Original Paint PADCO?
This neat old Mallard duck hunting decoy has seen a lot of time of the water however. You can still see some of the original paint. Its solid wood lathed body is in good shape with some nicks and wear. On the bottom it has its original lead weight with two eye bolts. I believe the amber colored eyes are glass. I have seen others similar to it online made by PADCO however I have no direct knowledge of the maker. I am no expert on duck decoys. This one and others I will be listing were obtained from estate sales. Antique malls and private collectors by my ex-husband. Antique Vintage Hand-Carved African Baule Goli Wood Mask, old paint, w/Horns
This auction features an old. Interesting, large, hand-carved wooden mask with horns, probably African- Baule Goli in origin. This mask has been painted red and black, but most of the paint has worn or weathered off on the front(see photos) Some gray paint remains on the back(see photos) The front of the mask has interesting geometric and circular carvings, and a nicely carved mouth with teeth, all intact. There is some apparent damage and/or wear to this mask: one eye socket has some wood loss. The wooden horns appear to have been damaged, and the wood has some checking that is evident on both the front and back. The back of the mask has four holes for tying the mask to the wearer's head. The size of the mask is approximately 17" in diameter with horns that are an additional 8" high and 13" wide. It is approximately 3" ... moredeep(front to back) This mask certainly shows the passage of time-it appears quite old with significant use and wear. Vintage HOPI Mudhead Kachinas - FOUR - plus RARE HOPI Kiva handcarved wood paint

This piece is VERY OLD. 30s. 40s, 50s, 60s? I really don't know how old? Feels totally like very old and I have never seen another one like it. The kachinas were handcarved from wood and then painted. This incredible KIVA. Made from an old fruit crate or similar, is also painted in matching colors. There are lots of kachinas in this world. With lots of bright colors and many feathers. But where are FOUR matching vintage HOPI mudheads plus the original matching Kiva- the spiritual center of their lives- that comes with the kachinas? This is the real thing. Very unique. The Kiva is 13 x 12 inches in size and including the opening on top. 5 1/2 ... moreinches tall. The four kachinas are approx. 6 inches tall. One of the mudheads has an arm. A hand and the mouth missing. This one is not attached to the kiva. It appears he was standing inside of the kiva looking up. The standing mudhead down below has the tips of the fingers on one hand missing. The other two are fine. And there is a smoke stack that was attached to this black spot on top originally. I'm glad it didn't get lost. The very bottom of the crate is all there but fragile. Quite amazing this piece survived for so long. I believe this was an actual toy. At one time, used by Native Americans/HOPI Indians. Then someone glued those four old kachinas in place. To put it up somewhere presentable! Wouldn't make much sense otherwise. I think. Most likely is that those kids wanted to play with them. Play the Kiva game. Great piece! The seller told me he bought it in the 1960's- used- at a trading post. During his travels as a writer- somewhere out there in the Southwest. I believe this is a super rare piece. Authentic. Original. Unique. Not in MINT but in very good original condition. You are viewing a very early Statue of a New England Preening Shore Bird Decoy.It has original paint realistic colors. This Decoy is hard to find I searched high and wide on E bay could not find any that are exact to this one except for those made of wood. There is a bit of paint loss from age. The paint loss is on top tail part not noticeable when viewing strait on. The Shore bird in its preening position is perched with a white painted wood dowel stick attached to white paint cement base. None of the three parts can be separated they are not removable.This is a perfect example of New England Cape Cod Nautical Decoration Folk Art. I have not been able to make out signature and makers marks. I will add to description if the picture enhancements help me to see what is carved on top of the cement base. The bowl is hand turned out of one piece of maple wood and is slightly out of round with an uneven top. Both typical of hand made dough bowls. The bowl has a turned top rim and flat foot underside so it will sit flat. It looks like the bowl was originally painted with the apple green paint when made and then, later, painted with the blue. The blue paint is old blue color and looks to be most likely from the late 1800s or very early 1900s. The blue paint has worn of in some places, leaving the original apple green to show. This is a primitive wood mirror with what looks to be milk paint. It is a faded pink/salmon color. It is hard to describe the color. It measures 17 1/2" by 19 1/4" The frame is 2 1/4" wide. The mirror measures 13" X 15" There are two little wood dowels at the top. I don't know why they are there. Because of age the mirror is faded and is scratched. see first photo) but there are no cracks. The last 3 photos have a piece of paper over the mirror to avoid the reflection. ANTIQUE 19thC CARVED WOOD FRENCH LOUIS XVI ARM CHAIR SILK FABRIC SHABBY PAINT
We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique chair. The chair dates to the late 19th or early 20th century and has been restored. The chair features carved wood frame with French. Louis XVI details. The chair has an ornate back with acanthus scrolls and flower medallion all in raised relief. The chair has sleek, curved arms with wide, paw like arm rests. The back legs are straight and nondescript. The front legs have cabriole lines and large paw/claw feet with nice details. The front legs are on metal casters. The frame has been painted at some point(not by us) and the paint does have a"milk paint" look to it. The painting has been expertly done with a beautiful color palette which is neutral but very striking. The colors of paint are a very light coffee/cream tan with a darker, chocolate brown as contrast. The flowers in the ... morecenter back have a blue tone to them. The fabric has also been replaced at some point. A patterned and textured, dupioni silk has been used on the seat. It features a cream or light tan back ground with a raised, geometric pattern. The raised pattern has colors of dark chocolate, golden tan and medium golden brown. The fabric is accented with a decorative trim. The chair is quite beautiful. It has a lower profile and was probably a ladies salon or parlor chair. It is in very good condition and it is very strong and sturdy. There is one small area of surface fraying to the silk in the front of the chair(picture 11) It has not affected the body of the fabric and there are no holes. The fabric is slightly nubby in dupioni fashion. The chair is old and the age is evidenced by the dowels that attach the parts together. The chair measures 31.5" tall. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. Antique, Victorian dining or library table. The table is solid wood and has been beautifully refinished with paint. The table features INTRICATE carved details on the top perimeter. There is an outer, pie crust" pattern along with a center veined leaf design. The inner border design features a carved/incised rope or barley twist accent. The table top is finished in a black crackled paint with silver paint applied to the leaf and rope patterns. The table pedestal is substantial in diameter and is accented with large, carved acanthus leaves. The table has four legs which are prominently curved. The legs possess carved acanthus leaves on their exterior profiles and carved scrolls on the interior. The legs are completed with wood, ball and lion paw/claw feet. The center box fits perfectly onto the table base and is secured with two long wood screws. This is a FABULOUS table. Because of the paint, I cannot tell what type of wood the table is made from. Judging by the weight, it is probably oak or walnut. The painted finish has been BEAUTIFULLY done(not by us) and the table is quite gorgeous. The top appears to be designed for a glass cover just inside the carved borders as this area is recessed/lower than the carved area. There is no glass with the table, but a piece could be purchased to fit into the relief area. The table is very sturdy and in very nice condition. Vintage 1940's Sepentine Edge Wood Stool Orig White Paint Age Distressed 11x14"
Up for auction is a vintage 1940's wood stool recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It has a nice simple serpentine edge to it with wonderful curved legs. The stool is quite distressed with drink rings on the top and losses to the feet bottoms as if in a garden for awhile. Looks great distressed so you know with a little sandpaper and a couple coats of paint it will be stunning. Can almost see a vintage stencil or some hand painting as well. The top measures a little over 11 x 14 and the stool is 10" stall. Still quite sturdy. Minuscule teeter to it, easy sanding down to flatten. It is quite dense and heavy for its size, we believe it to be oak vs pine but not 100% positive. A lovely piece worth of effort for your child, your plant, your doll or your feet! Primitive Antique Original Thick Slate Wood Framed Blackboard This is for an antique thick slate wood framed blackboard. Original antique. Not a reproduction. This blackboard is made of thick, very heavy slate. The frame is original wood and it has years of past lives depicted in its original wood with original patina and surface. Original yellow milk paint is on the wood, which makes this board even more original and exciting for the collector or for the person who loves decorating their space with original antique primitive items. Measures: 27" long by 20 3/4" wide x 1" frame. This item is heavy. The top of the frame has two hooks to hang. The chalk board is two-sided. The slate on one side is clean the other side has a few tiny scratches on the surface and the words family tree is very faintly on the board. I am sure it ... morewill clean up beautifully. The overall condition of this two sided slate board is in excellent. Clean condition with a perfect surface for continued writing. The wood frame is original. Painted in original yellow/mustard milk paint. The wood frame has normal antique surface wear such as dings, scratches, chippy paint etc. there is a small off-white line of what appears to be a paint line drip on one edge of the wood. The frame is firmly attached to the board with original antique nails. On one side of the board the frame on one side is missing the quarter round. The quarter round is on 3 sides only. However. This missing piece does not compromise the integrity of the board at all. It is still firmly in place. On the other side the quarter rounds are on all four sides. The wood frame moves ever so slightly, it is not tight, but has a bit of movement in it even thought the board is firmly in place. Please see all photos and ask questions. This item is very. Up for sale is this work Towns Paints Advertising Container. It measures about 24" tall 12" in diameter. I believe at one time it held Denatured Alcohol? The label says: Pure_tured Al_hol. Poison, Varnishes, Driers and Japans, Towns Paint Co, Inc. 215-217 Genesse St. Buffalo, N. Y. It is a metal cone topped container/ Bucket clad in wood. I have not attempted to clean this in anyway it is just as it was when I purchased it. The wood cork may not be original? It looks newer to me. But it may be original? My guess on it age is it probably dates to the 1910's or 1920's. In my opinion only it is in Good Condition for it age. I have been collecting paint memorabilia for over 12 years. This is the only wood clad container of this large 24" size I have ever seen. So I do not believe there are many of these around!
