Large Old Antique Bronze Temple Bell Stands 6 1/2 inches tall not counting chain
Up for auction is a great Temple bell which measures 6 1/2 inches tall not counting the chain. Great detail with mixed colors of oxidization showing where the metal was not thoroughly mixed before casting this bell. There are greenish areas of oxidization as well areas of black as well rust which is impregnated in the metal from age. there is no clapper and is meant to be struck by hand. Great piece which my grandmother came back with after one of her tours to the orient back in the 1960's. This as well the rest of her belongings have been in storage in my parent's garage since she died back in 1966 and haven't seen the light of day for almost 47 years.
