My son bought a box of baby clothes at an auction. Included in the box was a wedding dress for a small dog. We don't know the history of this dog costume. But it appears to be in very good condition. Dress is made of shimmery polyester satin with polyester lace trim. It has three decorative lace appliques- one on each side of the chest and one at the center of the lower back. Lace appliques are embellished with clear plastic sequins and white beads. A ribbon flower with beaded center is stitched to each front shoulder. A pleat in each shoulder and one in the center back adds fullness to the dress to allow it to drape around the dog's body. Tag in the neckline says this dog dress is size XS. Here is a gorgeous hand carved Ironwood Elephant. Superb detail and fabulous likeness! It is approximately 4 3/4 inches tall and 5 3/4 inches long. It has a nice weight to it and has been polished with a brown shoe polish which gives it a matte finish(some of the pics look a bit shiny but it is matte in person) This piece has some dark and lighter colored wood which creates a unique effect as it is not all one color. I tried to capture the color shifts in the photos but it is so much better in person. The tusks are made from bone and I can take them out for shipping or they can be left in. They are attached with a putty so can be taken out if you want to polish it again. Here is a very nice old bowl! It is 7 1/4 inches wide and 3 15/16- almost 4 inches tall. The hollowed out part is about 2 1/4 inches deep. It is in great condition. Except needs cleaning, so many years in a old house on a shelf. I leave the cleaning for your desire. The dark outside would really shine up nice. If I was to clean it- you might think it was made yesterday. The paper on the bottom- all original, is coming loose a little around the edges. Buyer pays $17.00 S&H in USA. No overseas buyers please. This is a postcard from Longchamps Restaurant in Washington D.C. It is a large one 5!2 X 7 inches. On the back it says there are Longchamps in New York and Philadelphia also. The post card is not dated but is from the 1960's. On the front it says it is the capitol's most beautiful restaurant and is two blocks from the White House. It is in good condition but not mint. The inside is clear glass with two diamond center pieces that are beveled on both sides. The top of the panels have a lovely arch to them. Although they are clear. They are still very reflective and pick up the colors around them. The glass is leaded with a silver color in the middle and brass running along the outside edges. These panels do not have a wood frame. Each panel measures 29 3/8th inches tall at highest point and 7 inches wide. SEE PHOTOS!
