This beautiful hand tooled vintage Taxco. Mexico sterling silver leopard skin bracelet. This is a unique bracelet distinctly marked with the TA-171 and 950. The T stands for Taxco, the A for the artisans initails and the number is their silver smith number. The 950 meands this bracelet is made of 95% silver a higher purity than most jewelry is made of. The bracelet is covered in cabachon leaopard skin with bands of silver running through it. This bracelet measures 7.5 inches in length and 1/2 inch wide. This bracelet is very heavy weighing 57.4 grams or 36.9 dwt. It has light patina from vintage age. This bracelet is in very good condition please expect light normal wear signs. VINTAGE AMERICAN INDIAN INGOT TURQUOISE STERLING SILVER CUFF BRACELET 7 INCHES
A superb example of an early Navajo bracelet. Executed in ingot silver and dating to the 1920's- 30's possibly older I am not sure of the exact age. Hard to find bracelet with clear hand hammering and strike markings on the inside. The bracelet is set with 7 natural untreated hand-finished turquoise cabochons on a piece of silver that is welded to the bangle. The welded piece measures 3 1/2 inches across the front of the bracelet. The stones are framed by a rope bezel and ball design. The ends have a most unusual stamped Native American design. The bracelet has an inside measurement of 5 13/16 inches, plus a gap of 1 1/8 inches, for a total of 7 inches. The bracelet measures 1 1/8 inches wide.
