BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER CROSS& MODERN STERLING CROSS W/GEMSTONES Up for auction are two gorgeous STERLING SILVER crosses for your collection. One is vintage and the other more contemporary. The lot weighs 12-13 grams total and all are in excellent condition- a little age patina on back of older cross. Features and details: Gorgeous vintage cross with hearts and filagree work on each end. This lovely cross measures 2 1/4 by 1 3/8 inches and is marked INRI at the top and Sterling on the back. It is on a fine but sturdy 16-inch curb link chain marked 925 that is newer. The second more modern cross is stunning and features a heavy bale and six genuine gemstones. The one on the top is definitely an opal triplet and the tiny center one is likely a cornflower blue sapphire. Not sure about the others- perhaps amber or some kind of fantasy ... morecitrine with interesting looking confetti like inclusions. With the bale. This cross measures 1 1/2 inches long and is 7/8 inch wide. The bale is marked 925 and I was told this was made in Thailand.
