Vintage Clergy Stole, Vestment cream color with burgandy and gold band
This stole has no stains or spills and is clean except it is heavily soiled around the collar and I think my last picture shows that. I don't attempt to clean any of these but would think a tooth brush with soap and water should do it. It measures 46" from top to bottom and is 4 1/2" wide at the bottom and 2 1/2" at the top. It is made of a heavy silky like material and the lining is the same. Thank you for looking.

This is another very nice and very clean vintage stole with no stains or spills. It has the same material front and back and I believe it is polyester. The cross on the front is a burgundy color and the one on the back of the collar is black. This is an exceptionally clean vintage stole with no stains or spills and is a cream color with gold flecks all over it. I don't know why digital cameras do not show glitter. But they don't. If you look closely at the photos, I did capture a few. I think it is polyester and has a silk lining. It is also a long one measuring 57" long and 6" wide at the bottom and 4" at the top. This is a very nice and clean vintage maniple with no stains or spills. It is however missing a portion of the frontal material that I have pictured in the last photo. I would think this could be worn on either the right or left arm as it has the same design on both sides. The part that is missing would be worn on the inside either way. This stole is absolutely beautiful and in super condition. It has no spills or stains and seems to have never been worn. As the label will show. This is a very nice and clean vintage stole except for one small stain that looks like candle wax that I have pictured in the last photo. It is located near the bottom of the picture on the right side and not real noticeable. This is a narrow stole measuring only 2 1/4" wide and is 47" long from top to bottom of the fringe. All monitors are set a little different and mine shows this stole as being a little more on the cherry red color. It is not quite that color and the last photo shows on mine to be the true color. This is a very unusual and very pretty cross stitch stole. I'm thinking it might be worn during marriage ceremonies because of the images of a man and woman on the stole. But I'm not sure. The tassels hang from beaded strings. The back of the stole is a solid green which looks like cotton or a poly blend. The colors are very vibrant. He also served as a missionary in Sierra Leone, West Africa in the 1940's and 1950's, and again in the 1970's, and then spent a few years as a minister in Holmfirth, Yorkshire, before retiring. This is a charcoal grey Clergy Rabat made by the famous vestment maker Barbiconi in Rome. It measures 16.5 inches at the neck with a snap closure and is 20 inches long in front. This Clergy Alb is from the famed Belgian vestment maker Slabbinck in their Terra fabric with purple trim woven in it. It is 70% Polyester and 30% Viscose material that is machine washable. Made in coat style it has large buttons on the shoulders. It measures 60 inches down the back from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the hem with a 45 inch chest although it measures 24 inches across with the pleats still folded so it spreads out a bit farther than their official measurements. This high quality vestment shows no signs of wear and would work well for any seminarian, deacon, priest, minister, or bishop. These are around $300 new.
