The cross and the other emblem with Jesus pointing to his heart on one side and the Madonna and baby Jesus on the other side are marked"sterling. I believe the heavy metal chain also is sterling as it does not stick to a strong magnet. The rosary has all 59 beads and is 20" long. The cross is 2-1/4" long and 1-1/4" wide. The glass crystal beads really sparkle. There is great detail on the figure of Jesus on the cross and on the emblem. This rosary weighs 45.2 grams. It comes with a leather pouch. Vintage German STERLING ROSARY BEADS Faceted Cut Crystal Large Silver Antique This wonderful vintage sterling silver set of Rosary beads was produced by the L S Mayer Co of Germany and feature faceted crystal beads. Just wonderful. Approx. measurements of the rosary is 34" long with the medal and cross piece measuring an additional 7 1/4" Laid out flat on a ruler. It measures 24 3/8" long. The cross measures 2 3/8" tall and 1 1/4" wide while the faceted beads measure 1/4" wide. Approx. weight is 66 grams. The rosary is in excellent condition. It has been polished lightly but could use a bit more. The Cross is marked Sterling on the back along with a maker's mark of a M inside a triangle. Really a wonderful Sterling rosary. This is a beautiful vintage rosary made of faceted 12mm Swarovski crystal beads and Sterling Silver; some of the beads are capped. The rosary ends with an ornate and detailed Sterling Silver Crucifix. The sterling centerpiece is equally detailed with the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the front and a smaller image of the Madonna with a burning heart on the other side(mark sterling) The rosary measures 27-1/4" from the tip of the crucifix to the back bead(really long) The cross alone is 2.36 x 1.57" 60mmx 40mm) The chain sections and the wires that string the beads have been tested and they too are sterling. This Vintage Sterling Silver and Faceted Crystal Rosary Beads is in its Original White Satin and Blue Velvet Box. It measures 21-1/2" long and weighs XX grams. The Colorless Crystal Beads have flat tops with a slightly smaller waist and link together with Sterling links. The Scrolled Cross measures 2" tall and 1-1/4" wide and is stamp marked. STERLING" The Center Medal measures 7/8" and has an embossed picture of the Virgin Mary and on the other side is Jesus; it is also stamp marked, STERLING" This Rosary was used and several of the Crystal Beads have tiny flea bites.
