Matching Vestment Set + Concelebration Set + 3 Vestments This is a very nice set of matching vestments. There are 3 vestments. One for a main celebrant and two for concelebrants. They are very close in style and fabric to those of the Holy Rood Guild, although these are from"Charis Liturgical Design" located in North Guilford, CT. They are all in the gothic style and with matching stoles. The main vestment has a v-shaped design at the top with gold panel running down the center of front and back, while the concelebrant vestments only have the v-shaped design at the neck with no panel. The stole for the main vestment is the normal style, and the stoles for the concelebrant vestments come to a point at the ends. Both have gold tassels. It is lined with red cotton fabric. Also consisting of 8 panels. In the Catholic tradition. The Zucchetto is most commonly made of silk or polyester fabric. The design utilises eight triangular panels that are joined to form a hemispherical skullcap. Jutting from the center of the Zucchetto at the top is the"stem" known as stirpis or stirpes. Green Vestment with Black Velvet Cross This is a nice green vestment. It is from the 70s or 80s. It is made of a heavy green fabric and has a collar at the neck. There is some signs of usage around the neck. But overall, the vestment is very nice. The applique is made of a black velvet with gold edging. Over the cross is a stylized piece of wheat and above it is a crown. The same thing is on the back. Vintage Burse + Hand-painted with Gems + Vestment This is an old burse. It has an incredibly detailed cover on the top. It was hand-painted with the image of a monstrance that has the face of Christ in the place where the host would be. It is surrounded by angels. And it appears to be standing on a altar with a lace cover. The detail is amazing! There are also nice jewel-like gems surrounding the monstrance and on edges of the burse. It has a gold chord around the edges and the reserve side has a nice red fabric. It measures 9 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches. It is used and there are some signs of usage. Antique Green Vestment Chasuble (w/ stole, maniple, burse, chalice veil)
Offered for auction is an antique green Roman chasuble set from a vestment collection with chasuble. Stole, maniple,and burse. It needs to be sold quickly hence the low price for the Buy-It-Now. Overall condition is good antique(see below, and pics) The embroidery is blue and that gives the overall color but the base fabric when you look at it is green. The ophreys are beautifully embroidered. Label indicates that it was made in France. Apologies for the poor quality of the photos. And please feel free to ask for more or any other details. This brocade trim was purchased at an Estate sale and I was told it was Church trim. Something I know nothing about. The large roll is 10 yards and about 1 inch wide with a Made In France tag.
