This one of a kind museum serrated spearpoint arrowhead was found by my grandfather in 1961 on an indian mound along mad river in greene county Ohio. I have never seen another one like it. And I have never listed it for sale being that its a family heirloom, however my family has fallen on hard times and I would be willing to part with it to help my family. The point is 4.5 in. long and about 2in wide, the serrations are 1/2 in some places and has quarzt crystal and a fossil in the flint used. My grandfather found it when he plowed his corn field with an old mule and plow. He said before he passed that it was used probally for religist cermonys be the adena, or hopewell indian around 200 or 400bc i'm sure however this is a museum quantity piece. It comes in its original box and has a 100 mm anvil that can be swapped. There is also a mystery little tool included. I don't know anything about Micrometers. I obtained this item from a Kawasaki Bike shop that went out of business. The measurement dial/ spindle sleeve has clear numbering with a smooth satin chrome finish(on carbide) that increases readability. The smooth rolling spindle action includes ratchet top and lock lever. The blade portion is insulated steel(blue) the front has a black plastic plate screwed to the base with"01" then"100-125 mm" printed in gold. On the back of the blade is the same plastic plate with"MADE IN ... moreCHINA" printed in gold lettering. The box is solid wood with silver toned metal latches. The inside is lined with foam that holds the Micrometer in place. On the front of the box are several stickers identifying the part numbers. The action on the dial is smooth, and there is no damage to the blade base(no chips, dents or rust) The anvil and tool also seem to be in fine condition with no dents or breaks. The box clearly lived in a shop and shows the most wear, the latches work great(and are tight) and the hinges are fully in tact and tight, but the wood on the box has some grease stains on the outside(especially on the back) and some minor scratches and dents in the wood.
