This vintage print. Light of the World by C. Bosseron Chambers(1882-1940) in a unique ornate frame is 16" high by 11 wide including frame. This print in a wooden antique frame is in good condition with frame. Glass, and print intact. The brown cover paper on the back of the frame has tearing, as shown in the pictures. Something had covered it, at one time, as seen by the white paper spots on the back, possibly to try to preserve original brown paper. The frame itself has some cracking at the top, as shown in the pictures. The print appears to have vibrant colors and no stains. This item is being offered with one day handling. Measuring about 13-5/8 x 10-5/8 inches, including the frame, it is in wonderful condition, with only some minor wear evident to the finish of the carved wood frame. The paper frame backing should be replaced, as well, but this is simple and inexpensive to do or have done. The sepia color and detail in this print are outstanding! This is a small framed original print titled"The Return" printed by Edward Gross Co. from New York City. It measures 7 3/8" X 4 1/2" It is a C. Bosseron Chambers image of a half kneeling WW1 soldier in front of a large Christ on the crucifix. The background appears to be in a church with an impression of a stained glass window and an offerings candle shrine in the corner. The description on the back of the frame is this: This figure of Manhood kneeling before the image of the Savior of Mankind at the time of the recent war symbolizes the return to God of thousands who had believed they could live without God or any form of Christianity. The wooden frame has antiqued gilding with subtle reddish and black paint in the grooves. There is ware on the finish that reflects the age of the piece. There is more wear at the bottom ... moreright corner area that. To me, would represent wear from a right handed person perhaps as they frequently held the piece in contemplation or prayer. This little object speaks volumes, both in the context of the image and in being. The print itself is in excellent condition for its age. This is a very large original print from the famous art of C. Bosseron Chambers from the early 1900's. Tag on the back says Rhode Island.from a Jeweler store named Archambault. Minor flaws I have tried to show in pictures. They do not detract from the beauty. Very collectible. The frame would be gorgeous if refinished or flaws were sanded and stained. Old ornate metal frame with litho of St. John the Baptist as a young child. Frame is 3.75" x 4.75" not including the metal work at top. The litho is marked"painted by C. Bosseron" with Edward Gross Co. NY printed on the left side. This does not have a glass over it and it does have some scratches/rubs around his eyes and hair, also a tiny split/indent over his right eye. This is not too noticeable unless it's held under a light and your looking for it but it does show up in the enlarged pictures,see#2& 5) The frame is marked Germany and it has aged patina and some corrosion. Bosseron Chambers(1882-1940) The picture is in a antique and very unique ornate church window frame that measures is 10 1/4" high by 5 3/4" wide. The frame is hand carved out of a heavy wood, such as oak. The front has a lacquered finish to it. The wooden antique frame is in good condition with frame and print intact, but has one minor flaw. The frame itself has a small crack on the left side at the bottom of the picture.

She is in the original wood frame which is also in in very good condition with very minor wear. Please expect age& wear as this is from the 1920s or earlier.
