Chinese carved Peking Glass court beads estate find… This lot consists of a mixed group of carved sapphire blue Peking Glass beads from an antique Chinese Mandarin Court necklace. The 3 larger head beads average 24mm and the 30 smaller counting beads average 12mm. The counting beads are carved with the image of Shou symbol on both sides. There beads are in good overall condition but are quite old and there is some tarnish to the metal fittings from age. There is also a rough patch on the top of the fuda bead. Beautiful and rare Qing Dynasty Antique Chinese Mandarin Court Necklace
A very rare Chinese Court Official/ Mandarin Court necklace Approx 53 inches string of black beads 100 beads in total 8 are missing this can clearly be seen on the photographs. The beads are made of heavy black glass. The Counterweight is approx 17 inches long from the top of the Jade ball on a finial to the end of the blue Peking glass inset. The woven silk is yellow and there is an oval amber glass pendant halfway between the jade ball and finial and the blue glass terminal. There are 4 cords of coral beads and they number 29 in total. on the end of each coral string there is a blue glass mounted terminal. A green glass mounted terminal, an amber glass terminal. These beads were once part of a Necklace known as the MANDARIN COURT BEAD NECKLACE. These beads are the remains of them. The light blue and green beads appear to be Jade. Large mandarin court necklace Floral Imperial Family Cloisonné
Mandarin Court Necklace Qing 1644 1911 Cloisonné and cow bone beads Large 95 Total cow bone beads The rest are made of metal with cloisonné design of lapis. Turquoise, green, and yellow colored enamels 4-1" cloisonné beads(3 between the cow bone beads and a fourth on the larger pendant) The largest pendant has blue material on each side and measures 11/2" X 2" with a central Chinese character The other pendant is smaller measuring 1 3/16" 30- 7/16th sized cloisonné beads 3 11/4" hanging pendants with leaves around a round piece in cloisonné 1larger hanging pendant measuring 1 3/16 th with same design All cow bone beads are in good shape except for minor damage on about 5 of them All small cloisonné beads are in great condition. 1 of the larger beads has a small indent dent- in image but ... morehard to see. The one hinged counterweight small end pendant(image 3) has a small dent on one side- normal as you leaned back on it. This is normal.And as you can see almost undetectable. Normal silk thread wear- broken as expected in several areas(all visible) those are the small pieces coming off the material hanging from the larger necklace. The necklace is in tact. This was part of a collection of Chinese pieces that were collected by my grandfather when he was working at the French Bank of Indochina In Peking about 1917. They were passed on to my Mother. And then to me at her death. Please ask questions before bidding. My 100 per cent feedback is important to me. The condition is excellent and well described here. Chinese QING MANDARIN Imperial COURT NECKLACE
Offered is an unusual antique Chinese Mandarin court necklace of intense red beads with black veining. Accented with turquoise beads flanked with black and ribbed brass rondelle beads. The characteristic“tail” is formed of butterscotch colored beads combined with smaller turquoise and red beads. I assume the red beads are some form of Peking glass, and possibly the turquoise beads as well, but the small turquoise beads in the“tail” appear to be natural turquoise. This is smaller than other court necklaces I have had, the red beads measuring 8.5mm, and the overall length excluding the“tail” measuring just 40” It is in excellent condition strung on gold silk cord the same as the slip knot on the“tail” The only flaw I can find is a missing brass bead right where the strand meets the“tail”

A Beautiful and Rare High Ranking Chinese Court official's glass and carved bone necklace. The colour of the necklace and the yellow embroidered fabric suggests that this necklace probably belonged to a high ranking official or his consort There are 3 large round opaque glass beads. Either side of the large bead are medium sized beads then carved bone beads. One of the worked bone beads is not on the necklace but I have it and it will be sent with the necklace. The necklace would benefit from re-stringing but otherwise is in very good condition 3 strings of 10 bead red glass beads each terminating in a tear-drop bead with it's associated white metal cover. There are remnants of kingfisher feather decoration on the terminal white metal tear-drop metal holders. Length 42 inches excluding counter-weight. You are viewing a Beautiful Antique Chinese Jade Court Necklace. This necklace consists of 95 carved and hallowed out off white beads. There are 3 jade beads. There is 1 carved leaf and flower design bead and measures 1 1/4 inches in length and 1 inch in width. The 1 white jade bead is carved in the shape of a butterfly. It measures approximately 1 1/4 inches in width and 3/4 inches in length. There is a small chip on the right lower wing. All of the green beads are in excellent condition. Of the 95 beads. There are 12 that I would consider in poor condition. The balance of the beads are in expected condition. Considering its age. I also suspect one bead is entirely missing.
