Vtg Metal/Marble Wall Hanging/Mounted Receipt/Note/Letter Holder/Keeper Decor
Here is a old ornate wall mounted receipt. Note, letter keeper/holder. It was painted white and over time the paint has worn and the advertising on the top has more or less worn away. It was for E.A. Wellman Furniture& Undertaking Lewiston, MN. There is quite a bit of crazing to the paint as well as discoloration. The blue marble appears to have a couple cracks but with all that said there is no major damage. This 7.25" tall, 3" wide and 1.5" deep note keeper mounts or hangs on the wall well with 2 good screws. It has no other identifiers. Please ask questions if you have any! We do combine shipments as well as free local pick-ups. I do my best to describe my items. But I am not an expert in any field. Most of my items are vintage. These wall mount pre-school toys are fabulous for building early motor skills like hand eye coordination. Counting, and logic. I am the sole owner of these toys that were purchased for a daycare but never actually used. I did drill four holes(non OEM) in one board to wall mount for my needs but soon after removed it to redesign the play space. My six year old has successfully played with the number board but there is no damage to that board. They cost me $450 new so you save over 50% for at best, lightly used toys. Mid Century Modern Wall Mounted Plant Stand c.1950s( Probably German made) Gorgeous atomic era wall hung plant stand with adjustable green and pale blue tear drop formica shelves. The back plate is constructed from black finish tubular metal attached to a beech wood strut at both the top and bottom. There are two small hanging hooks at the top for ease of instalation. The four tear shaped surfaces are finished with a gold effect trim and have lovely era coloured formica finishes- 2 x pale blue and 2 x soft mid green. These each hang on a seperate bar and can be adjusted to prefered height and swiveled in and out for desired position. Its worth knowing at this point that the individual shelves stay in place when the unit is in the upright position and weight is applied- although if you where just wanting to display on a wall without plants ... moreor other objects they will also stay in place Offered in very good condition with signs of age. Previous use and storage as might be expected. Two of the metal poles are slightly mis-shapen( not very obvious) but the metal is quite soft and these could be straightened or made straight again. As pictured there is a crack to one of the wooden fittings that sits beneath one shelf but this does nothing to hamper. The formica is in very good- excellent condition with very little wear. The underside of each shelf has water staining and the screw fixings display with surface corrosion- All shown but given this fab items age the above mentioned does little if anything to spoil. Description For your consideration is a PARKER No. 50 wall mounted coffee grinder. It is mounted on an old piece of wood. This piece has its original pars. With the exception of the original brass medallion, which has been replaced. In 1829. Charles Parker started making coffee mills for Patrick Lewis, a manufacturer of coffee mills. Charles contracted with Patrick Lewis to make coffee mills for his company. The Charles Parker company went through many tough times including many failures until they closed the doors permanently. Condition The handle turns smoothly and rotates the grinder well. The lid does not close snugly. The board has cracked through and is held together with two plates on the backside of the board. Just out of a local house is this unusual tin lantern. It has three glass windows with X guards. Two holes for hanging, a removable font with kerosene burner, and a vented top. The lantern measures 10 3/8 inches high. 8 1/4 inches wide, and 3 3/4 inches deep. It is in very good condition with some rust on the unpainted areas, some slight paint loss, one of the X brace members is loose, and there is a dent in the front by the burner. See photos.
