This is a vintage hand made hand painted wall mounted bottle opener. The bottle opener is an authentic Starr-X Coca cola by brown company patent number 2333088. Made in Virginia, description of this company is below. It is resting on a hand made piece of wood with a box underneath to catch the tops. It measures approx. 12" x 4 1/2" x 3. It needs cleaning and possible glaze if you choose to make it more new looking. In 1943 Brown gets US patent 2333088 and changes the label for 4th time dropping Thomas Hamilton’s date of April 1925 and adding Brown’s newly issued patent number to the makers mark. All open- ers made carry the casting mark of USA on back. These new labels were produced during the 1943-1975 time period.
