SC Richard Asian/ Oriental design pitcher water jug. Made in Italy. Simply stunning piece! VERY OLD- CANNOT LOCATE ANOTHER IT HAS- The SC Richard mark with lion shield and flag and not the Ginori name though they became the same company years later. SC Richards was a Milanese ceramics company that merged with Ginori in 1896. The merger created the company Ginori Richards. Which I believe was Italy’s most productive and prestigious ceramics company until their unfortunate close in 2012. The SC Richards back-stamp. Without any reference at all to Ginori, dates this piece to pre-1896 when this backstamp was discontinued. The back-stamp itself is of a Griffin with the Milanese flag and the shield that has a Biscione(man eating serpent) on it. It measures 13" wide by 12" tall and the Straps are 27" long. The Straps are not adjustable and are fastened together in the middle and at the ends with a wrap of Ostrich Material. The straps go through 4 large brass eyelets. The inside is Plush Beige Leather and has a zippered pocket on one side. This is from my personal handbag collection. I am offering to you a vintage 8 piece Depose Italy SPIDER Mark nativity set. This set comes with stable. Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, shepherd, sheep, horse, and cow. They are plastic and are an ivory color with gold accents. The stable is wood, plywood, and particle board. It has a light in.the back which does work. The stable does have some wear as I have shown in the pictures. The figures were all glued to the stable at one time. They have all come off except for baby Jesus. The top layer of the particle board came off whenever the figures did. I have also shown these areas in the pictures. The stable is 14 inches long x 12 inches tall. It is stamped Italy on the back.
