I am not certain what era or decade this is from, but all the stitching is hand-stitched. The only other quilt pieces I know that are this style are from mid- late 1800's. This auction is for a hand-carved wooden fish. It's a Coy/Goldfish and appears to be quite old. It came from an antique store auction. It's made from a very hard wood and the only"wear" appears to be a couple water stains(fitting.fish.water stains: and one small carving flaw in a bottom corner. Which most likely happened as it was being carved. It's definitely a"one-of-a-kind" item. It measures 10 1/2" long by 6 1/2" high by 2" wide.
