Antique French Art Nouveau Arts and Craft Copper Humidor Box. Circa 1890-1920 Enjoy this fabulous piece of history. This is a very fine example of Art Nouveau craftsmanship. It features very heavy hand formed copper with unbelievable deep details. I acquired this antique piece while in France a few years ago from a period antique dealer. The Antique French box is in original patina and overall excellent condition. The top hand formed copper panel depicts an art nouveau floral with two tones. The eight formed side panels depict one of two floral motifs. The inside has been lined with foil for use as a cigar humidor. Sailboats are typical scenes in Al- forat RIVER in IRAQ The cup's handle is very well made and there is what looks like a falco on the top. The whole cup is very well made and it appears to be hand made. The weight is 64 GERAMS WIDTH 7.8 CM HEIGHT: 3.4 CM there are no hallmarks on this wonderful Cup as is normal whit early middle eastern silver although they are similar to sterling silver@ 925 purity/ compound. I am not sure of the exact date when this fantastic item was made but it does feel 1940's and possibly earlier. It's in very good condition. And no dents or broken bits.
