He is made of carved hardwood and then his vintage string rope hair was added and of course glasses so he can see and last his hat to keep his head warm. Hand Craft Painted Pine Cones & Needles Set 5 Wood Dishes Platter Plate 12" & 8"
This sale is for a set of 5 wooden plates. These have a very well done painting of pine needles& pine cones around the edge. Nice effective highlights on the cones. 4 measure 8 inches in diameter and the large platter is 12 inches. The bottoms have initials in pencil and a pin dot hole in the center. Probably from the tool used to make them. Has a nice grain. Soft natural color with a clear finish. The finish on the larger plate has a few light surface scratches I do not know what kind of wood it is. I do not know the age. I've had them for quite a while having bought them at an eatate sale for my carved wood collection. Quite nice These weigh at least 2 1/2 pounds. Shipping weight will be 4 pounds.
