Gorgeous Victorian gold fill padlock charm bracelet. These were very popular gifts for brides. I believe it needs a key to be unlocked. I can't get it open. There may be some trick to it. But I don't want to damage it. No real wear at all on this piece. I measured it with a tape and I came up to about 7/12 inches. I do not find any makers marks on this piece. Sweet and versatile antique Victorian slide chain with heart shaped slide adorned with chased leaves and 2 flowers. One is a seed pearl and the other a tiny Ruby cabochon. Overall length is approximately 50" not including the latch. The heart slide measures approximately 5/16" by 5/16" wide and 3/16" deep. The slide does not stop on the chain. Tends to run to the latch which works very well. It is in very good condition overall. No areas notched but there are 2 light dimples on the back of the heart slide. Not obvious when worn.
