This item is from a local church that closed down. It has been recently dry cleaned and is ready for immediate use! Please see my other listings for more items from this closure. This Chasuble with matching stole is white with a beautiful redwork type accent. I have shown both the front and the back. As you can see. The redwork is on both sides. The only tag on this garment reads"In Memory Of" What a wonderful way to remember a loved one during church services! The chasuble measures 40 inches along the entire length of the redwork from neck to hem. The accent is 4 1/4 inches wide. It is in very good vintage condition. The only issue I noticed is a tiny black spot about the size of the tip of a ball point pen. The matching stole measures approximately 98 inches in total length. It measures 4 inches wide. Beautiful Hand Painted Burse Vestment This is a beautiful Burse. It is a vintage piece and in extraordinary condition. The burse is used at Mass to hold the Corporal. This one is hand painted with lovely roses and an image of the face of Christ. The detail in this image is truly amazing! This is a very unique item and could be used at Mass or even considered a work of art. It has white linen fabric inside and a watered-silk red fabric on the back and sides. Humeral Veil and Benediction Burse. This particular Cope set was sewn of a White/Cream fabric of unknown origin; in other word’s it has no liturgical pattern. The retired Priest believes the fabric is a Rayon ... morematerial since it has only been Dry Cleaned and was in fact just Dry Cleaned before being put up for Auction. The Cope, Stole, Humeral Veil and Burse are in Very Good condition for age and former use…in short, they have a long life of use ahead still. The Cope. Stole, Matching Humeral Veil and Benediction Burse are entirely lined in a pale lemon satin like fabric. The Clasps on both Cope and Humeral Veil are Gold plated set with faux Emerald like Glass stones. The“Applique” Medallion” or“Vesica, which is the proper Liturgical term on the Cope is from Russia and is The Holy Face of Jesus. As the photographs have shown, it works excellent with both the color of the Cope and the Orphrey banding. The Humeral Veil has the same Orphrey pattern but has not Applique, Medallion or Vesica. Of most importance to any Bishop. Priest or Deacon who has to wear a Cope is how well it fits. It has a lovely patina and appears to be linen and metal threads. It could be older than 1800s. But I am not certain of the exact date. Definitely Victorian. It may have been used for Church vestments, although most of the metallic ecclesiastical trims tend to have Christian symbolism( grapes, stylised crosses) and this is an unusual pattern. This auction is for a lovely antique Edwardian French vestment trim consisting of a cotton/linen-like ground woven with fine gold metal threads. It is in a lovely shade of mulberry wine and has a wonderful patination. It is in great condition with no flaws that I detect. The last two photos show the underside and metal/cotton threads. This is my only piece and measures approximately 31.5" x 1" It is being sold"AS IS" Photos have been taken in natural light with no flash.

White Stole with Lamb of God Applique + Vestment This is a lovely white stole. It measures 4 feet 1 inch in length and the width is 5 1/2 inches. It is made of a plain white fabric and in lined with a similar white fabric. There is a gold cord at the neck to hold in place. ON the front are 2 very nice embroidered appliques of the"Lamb of God" matching) and sewn over a red cross. The stole is overall in excellent condition. There are two minor stains at the top.
