This beautiful aurora borealis sterling silver rosary was carried by my aunt at her wedding. It is in its original box. It was put away and never used. It has a sterling cross and medal. The metal has the sacred heart on one side and Jesus and Mary on the other. Our Father bead is larger than the Hail Mary beads. It measures 22 ½” long. There are some scratches on the crucifix. It is a beautiful crucifix. The box is original and blue velvet.

ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER & HAND CUT TEARDROP CRYSTAL LONG ROSARY~ORNATE CRUCIFIX
Gorgeous antique large Sterling Silver and hand cut crystal(possibly rock crystal) rosary measuring when worn 23 1/2" long. Each crystal is completely hand cut which I hope you can see in my photographs. They measure approximately 8.5mm X 8.5mm. No 2 are exactly the same as they are all hand cut so sizes very slightly vary. They are all connected with a Sterling chain passing right through them. The rosary has a large and very ornate Sterling crucifix. Its detail and intricacy are beautiful and very ornate. Crucifix measures about 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" It as well as the finely engraved centerpiece are stamped STERLING. Rosary weighs a substantial 63 grams and is in excellent all original condition. Superb antique- entirely sterling silver. at least.925. Islamic worry prayer beads rosary with applied filigree pattern on the beads. Handmade exquisitely on a beautiful Victorian era book chain. Mid to late 1800s The dark silver patination/ oxidization covers all beads and tassels- only the portion of the chain underneath that was not exposed to air for many decades remains bright sterling(see photo) It is left to the buyer as to whether to polish the beads or enjoy them in their antique.
