This is a Super Cool Vintage Handmade Rosary with a Sterling Silver ST. PIUS THE X Medal and a Brass Church Bell with a cap that unscrews to reveal a hidden Rosary inside. It measures a total of about 21" Long and the Crucifix is 2" Long by 1 1/4" wide the St. PIUS Medal is marked STERLING on the back(see pictures) The cap of the bell reads ST. JOSEPH P.P.N on the inside and FRANCE- DEPOSE on the outside. The small Rosary measures 5 1/2" Long and is a metal link chain with a metal Cross. The bell is made of brass with a metal cap. Here is a really nice Vintage Rosary up for auction. This Rosary is made of Sterling Silver and Black Beads. Of which I think is plastic but not real sure. It is marked as being Sterling and has a Hallmark that I am not familiar with. See photo. The Crucifix measures 2.125 inches tall x 1.250 inches wide. The Christ Figure looks to be a separate piece and is attached to the cross as shown on the backside. Religious Rosaries Pieces medals–Wooden crucifix huge lot- Please look at the pictures- too many to describe all of them One medal on chain is the 4 way metal. On the back it says I am Catholic. Please call a priest. It is marked Sterling Creed. St. Joseph medal says St. Joseph Pray for US. It is round and measures 1” across. On the back it says 925 Italy and it has looks like Rni symbol not sure what this is. Rosary with purple beads appears they were tied onto a heavy string. Appears hand made. Large Rosary with the Glow in the Dark Beads– all connected– very nice Rosary with pink mauve beads with little swirls in them. The beads are very nice and are oval with a darker line down the sides of each bead. Please look at the pictures. Which show more than my descriptions. The center medal has Mary with praying hands beside her shoulder on ... moreone side and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the other side. The crucifix measures 2 ¼” long x 1 ½” wide. On the back on the bottom it says Italy but the letters are very faint. Rosary beads– Great for repairing other rosaries- Crystal beads very light see thru pink. This is the standard rosary with the 5 sections of 10 beads and the Our father beads in between. These are pink beads with the gold filigree caps on both ends of the beads almost covering the whole bead. This measures about 18” long. One section has come loose from the rest of the rosary. The links are all there but need put back together. Please look at the picture. The crucifix measures 2” x 1 ½” across. It does say ITALY on the back. The center medal is of Mary and on the back it also says Italy but no other markings. Really pretty rosary. Black beaded rosary– Use for repairs– It is missing a couple of beads and has been taken apart in a couple of places. Most of the rosary is together. But maybe can use this to do repairs. this is a stunning high quality antique 19th century sterling silver prayer beads set. the crucifix is very dimensional and has a nice patina from age but can also be shined up if desired. it is marked"sterling" on the backside. the pendant in the middle of the beads is double sided and also very detailed. one side has Jesus and the other side has Mary both done in high relief. the side with Mary reads"Dater Dolor" the beads are all made from sterling silver and have larger single beads. all beads are held together by nice circular silver links. the piece is in great shape and measures 16 3/4 inches long. When stretched out and laying flat, the rosary beads would measure about 16" long not including the cross(which by itself measures about 2 1/8" and is marked Sterling) The beads are each about 1/8" The medal is double sided with what looks like a Sacred Heart Jesus on one side and on the other and is marked Our Lady of Mt Carmel pray for us. The metal measures about 3/4" and is also marked Sterling. Item is in good, unpolished condition-you're getting it just as I did. Any polishing or cleaning will be left to the buyer's discretion. Going from left to right in the lead photo, here are specs on each: Made in Italy of sterling silver it measures 1 7/8" long The big cross in the middle is heavy and made of sterling-looks to have an arts& crafts stamp on the backside. It measures 2 3/8" This cross is connected to a rosary of glass beads-but it is broken. The center piece is also made of sterling. The cross on the right is made in Italy but it is not marked as being sterling. It measures 1 3/4" I bought this knife new in the mid-90s. It is in very good. Beautiful ornate silver crucifix and stamped Gloria Sterling. This Rosary weighs 15 grams in total. Was tested using 409 and Q tip. 59 Beads with the decades having double caps. One bead is worn more that the rest as I can see, it looks like there is a repair at one of the chained links, Medal has the Lord on one side and Mother Mary with Infant on the other side. This Rosary comes in a silver metal Miraculous Medal box. It has some minimal wear, there is a felt like material in the bottom and top of box, with hinge and closure in working order. This is an old rosary and case. On back of the cross are the initials R.G.C. and at the bottom sterling ebony France. I believe the brown beads are wood but am not 100% sure. Case shows a lot of wear and has that old leather/vintage item smell. Rosary shows wear from use and some tarnishing on the silver. rare big sterling silver carved jade stone religious rosary prayer beads cross
This is a very rare set of antique sterling silver and carved light green jade stone rosary prayer beads. it's very ornate and done with an abundance of intricate detailing. the crucifix is very large. Very detailed, and made from sterling silver. the sacred heart medallion is also made from sterling and is very ornate. it has very large beads which are hand carved from solid light green jade stones and are very dense. they have a lovely polished finish and are two different sizes. the beads are connected with sterling chain links. it has acquired a wonderful patina from age and measures 23 inches long. it is overall in nice antique condition. Is has a couple dings on the cross as shown in photos. it is also missing a couple beads but displays very well.
