Both are 6" and both have the 1921-22 SW logo, the Made in U.S.A. is wider than the notched-corner rectangle] The top square shown in the 1st photo is also on top in the other photos. In the photos of the SW stamp. The top square is without my thumb, the bottom square is with my thumb. Probably from a Vocational School. Both have a 3/8" tall number stamped on their end, the top one shown stamped'2' the bottom one stamped'4' Both have some minor pitting. Both are entirely legible. The Mitre Box series is so named by him to mean that these pieces can be"reproduced by using basic modeling tools-a#11 modeling knife, a jewelers saw, small metal files, and a mitre box with a fine tooth razor saw" There are 13 furniture pieces in Vol. I and 12 pieces in Vol. II-all are for the Southwestern style in 1:12 miniature scale. Vintage Miter Mitre Gauge Unknown Mfg Delta Rockwell Craftsman Atlas Collector
Nice mitre gauge from an unknown manufacturer. This is fully functional and usable. But probably more of a collectors item. This one is a bit rare as I have been unable to identify the maker. The metal bar is 12" long x 3/4" wide x 5/16" deep. The head is 6" wide and swivels freely. It has a casting mark underneath that reads"80501" This is a unique setup due to the lock down knob being very close to the outside of the radius. The issue is that it is more easily dented due to less material and you can see a slight deformity in this area probably from being dropped. The angle scale is a copper/gold colored plate with red over paint. Most of the red paint is still intact. Just a neat little piece that should be a nice addition to your collection.
